From the photos it looks like the rooms are pretty clean and modern, but that was not the case when we arrived at the hotel. The place was convenient enough to get to from the train station, but the hotel itself was extremely underwhelming. The...More
The staff was nice enough, but the hotel rooms are extremely budget. We checked into a room that absolutely stunk of sewage in the bathroom and it was disgustingly overpowering in the entire room. The Front Desk moved us into a different room that thankfully...More

Stayed for two nights with two friends during Easter bank holiday. The location is excellent, it is very central and short walking distance of all the sights. Around the corner from the Piazza del Duomo. It is about 20 mins walk from the train station...More
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

I will suggest you to pre book the taxi. It may be difficult to get one on the spot, considering you need to leave early morning. The front desk is open 24*7 and they also give packed breakfast if you let them know a day prior. The airport travel time will be around 30 to 40 minutes. Well, i did not face any drug issues and its quite safe as per my experience. You can even have the taxi come to the hotel. You can board from there just in case you are apprehensive to travel
