We stayed here for 3 nights in June as part of our honeymoon. The hotel is beautiful,in lovely grounds, and about 25 minute walk from florence centre. The welcome at the hotel wasn't great, and we felt the staff who run the hotel could have made more effort given we booked 13 mths in advance and asked for a view...

We had 3 nights in this lovely spot. I can only agree with previous reviews: peaceful, comfortable, attractive surroundings, very helpful staff and a lovely terrace area. The view is fantastic and we were very glad that we had chosen a room with balcony view of the city spread out below. it may not be the last word in luxury...

Villa Belvedere is an oasis of calm. Family run, quiet, personal service with a lovely pool, it is miles removed from the incessant din of traffic and tourists in central Florence. A tranquil drink at sunset, large rooms, A/C and that view! A great place to stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and clean. We had a drink in the bar area which was pleasant and I think it had free internet access for a while each evening. The breakfast was a continental breakfast and was ok. The swimming pool area looked lovely and the hotel was a 20 minute (fast)...

Family run hotel just outside of Florence. Slightly dated and old fashioned but clean, comfortable with large bedrooms and amazing views over the city. Lots of free parking, a must when travelling around Italy by car. Excellent service and only 30 minute pleasant stroll into Florence. Even a pool if the weather is good. Would stay here again.

We have been traveling in Europe for over 40 years and have stayed at the Hotel Belvedere many times. It is our favorite hotel in Italy. We have recommended it to friends and they have loved their stay at the hotel. The hotel is a beautiful Villa run by the family Perotto-Cheschi. The rooms are excellent and have views of...

This is a beautifully-kept high standard hotel situated on a hill at the edge of Florence. Our room was spacious, with a balcony and views across the Tuscan countryside. Other rooms overlook the city. Although it's located within an urban area you'd never know as it's very quiet and secluded. There's free on-site parking, ideal if you have a car...

We arrived at 1am and the two other hotels we went to were sold out. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and rooms are very large. You can tell that this is a family owned property and the there is lot of care taken to provide a very comfortable stay. The rooms may be...

Wow, the views from the rooms that face Florence are just paling fantastic!! The hotel has been in the same family for over 50 years and is maintained at a level near perfection. The owners are delightful and we didn't mind being a short cab ride from the city center. We will stay here again for sure the photo's of...

Great hotel, excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, plesant location with a bus stop nearby and regular bus services to the city centre. Just a 10 minute ride. The hotel has great views of Florence over the tree tops and has both a tennis court and pool for guests. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody that is traveling to...
