A really great little b&b hotel right next to the Duomo so everything was within easy walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful with museum and restaurant bookings. Room was very clean and well serviced. Breakfast was excellent, the best of the four hotels we stayed in on our holiday. Local ham, great bread selection, fresh pancakes and...

The price is great, the staff is wonderful, the cleanliness was impressive but the location was FANTASTIC! We stayed a week and we wanted to stay longer. From the bakery right by the hotel, to the great restaurant recommendations, to the price of our stay, to the friendly staff and to the location this hotel is TOPS! See you soon!

Fantastic location. Nice room and great service. Breakfast is very rich and special dietary needs can easily be accommodated. We lost a glove and it was returned to us personally. How did the personnel know it was ours? Really service minded you don't get this kind of contact in big hotels

AMAZING HOTEL! The staff is nice, you must leave your key at the front desk when leaving the room, but the views are amazing! Complementary continental breakfast on the terrace overlooking the DUOMO! Room was a nice size, restroom was roomy and the hotel is very clean. You def get your moneys worth!

Had a fantastic stay in October 2016. The view of the Duomo from the balcony is second to none and the central location is perfect for exploring Florence. The friendly staff were very helpful and the breakfast was a tasting delight each morning - loved the honeycomb. Over the week I was there I started to feel very at home...

To my nice surprise, Hotel Duomo was more than perfect accommodation for my three nights in Florence. It is located right next to the Duomo and from the french windows of breakfast room and lounge its beauty can be appreciated. My room was a standard single room. It doesn't have a Duomo view but faces the little street and I...

One of the best value-for-money ratios I have experienced so far. My room was very clean and nice, with TV (they do have German and English channels but for me it was great fun to watch "Inspector Barnaby" in Italian trying to guess what was going on :)) and a bathroom having a spacious shower and even a bidet. I...

Hotel Duomo is an excellent value choice if you're looking to stay in the centre of town, literally next to the Duomo, allowing for the bells to wake you up gently each morning before you head out and explore. The entry to the 4th floor reception is via an old wooden elevator with double doors that adds to the Italian...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
