One of the most pleasant places to stay in Florence. The location is great, 10 mins away from the center. We spent 5 days, and were treated very friendly and kindly by the host - Oscar. Highly recommend it!

After traveling round Italy for the last week the bed in this b&b was by far the most comfortable!! Oscar (the owner) is so friendly and happy to help whatever your question! He gave us a map of the city upon arrival and pointed out his collection of English tourist books to help us on our way as well as...

This is a great little B@B in Florence with the advantage of parking and being close to the city center. Oscar, the owner is a delightful host and will help you with anything. Expecting a hotel standard in a budget B@B would be foolish and will ruin your stay. Breakfast is a good combination of sweet pastries, home made pizza...

This hotel is a short walk from Florence SMN and from Campo di Marte station and is just around the corner from a large supermarket. The building is lovely and easy to find. Upon arrival we had a warm welcome from Oscar and throughout our stay he was very helpful giving us maps and offering books about the area. The...

The host, Oscar was very friendly. The location of the hotel isn't very near to tourist attractions but a 15 minute walk to the station from where you can go to the attractions. Rooms were good but furnishing was slightly old.

My friend and myself have been traveling through Italy for 3 weeks now and among the places we wanted to visit is Firenze (Florence), we have mainly stayed in B&Bs and this is one of the best ones I have ever stayed at! The place is only 8 minutes walking from all important areas and 10 minutes from the train...

Rooms all open with same key. I surprised my next door neighbor in bed! Beds are antiquated and miserable. "Quaint breakfast" is poorly prepared Indian food. Everything smells like curry. Host owners are inhospitable and unhelpful. Worst stay in many years of European vacations.

I usually stay in the "centro storico", but because of a huge price increase in the place I normally stay at, I looked for an alternative. I wanted something close to the Nelson Mandela Forum so I could walk to a concert ther. I chose Soggiorno Michelangelo for that reason and it was a really good price. The hotel is...

“The FirenzeCard which gets you in to all sorts of places also gives you free access to the bus, tram and metro systems. If you are in town for two or more days, it's foolish not to have this card. The # 17 bus drops you off a block from hotel.”
