What an amazing place. Clean, modern, not what I expected from a B&B in Florence. The views are incredible of the Baptistary, Duomo, and Bell Tower. Francisco was our host and made reservations for us at his favorite places to eat? I have never written a review on Trip Advisor, but I feel compelled to do so here. This was...

The most central b&b at Florence and what a view, amazing. Nice rooms and very comfortabel beds, bathroom a bit small. Good continental breakfast although a missed some fresh fruit. Price/quality is this b&b top !

There was no-one there to check us in when we arrived in the evening. We had to check in at another hotel, and we did not receive a refund from Soggiorno Battistero. Stay away. Poor service and moral.

Wonderful location. Can be noisy but I used a white noise app at night so it was fine. Looks out on the Battistera, overlooking the square. Clean, great beds, good pillows. Bathroom small but works. Breakfast was full and good. Eggs, roles, meats, cheeses. Entry (big door on front, elevator to third floor) was a bit worrisome at first but...

I recently stayed at Soggiorno Battistero for four nights. It was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was in a single overlooking the Duomo and the view was absolutely stunning. The breakfasts each morning were excellent and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Probably the best location in Florence - my room has a direct view of the Domo (which can get quite noisy late evening but goes quiet once all the tourists have left). The hotel is small but really modern and clean. The staff are awesome and always ready to help. Superb choice, will be staying here on future visits as...

As the title says, I can't say enough amazing things about this place: 1. Location: Right next to the Duomo our room looked across to the baptistry. See pics. 2. Staff: So very friendly. It was my wife's birthday and when we arrived there was a birthday message, complimentary champagne, and passes to the Duomo. 3. Rooms themselves were very...

It took us a couple minutes to find the place, but once we did, it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room itself offered an incredible view of the piazza and the duomo. I'm very glad that we stayed here.

The proprietor Francesco and his staff were friendly and very professional. Francesco met us at the B&B which is right across the street from the Baptistry and the square of the Duomo. You walk out the front door to an amazing view. The room we had was at the back of the B&B and was very roomy with a King...

Soggiorno Battistero was a little tricky to find, but if you go right to the duomo in Florence, it’s in the square facing it, closest to the bell tower and the Baptistery of St. John. It is within walking distance of the train station, and we felt that worked out well. There is a small sign outside the door, and...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
