The one star rating belies the quality of this hotel. Very nice little hotel situated in central Florence. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are not big, but cosy and with a nice bathroom. Highly recommended.
I stayed for a night in this hotel in a triple room. Location is perfect, very close to the city center and also to central station (santa maria novella).
The room is very clean and the bathroom too. The receptionist staff is very helpful and...More
A value for money small hotel very close to the train station and all attractions. Located on the third floor. Lift is available. Family friendly. Reception time only till 9.30pm but they have electronic pass access around the clock. Friendly staff.
The hotel was situated well. Clean and with all the basics. Still within walking distance of the train station. Good if you want a clean place to sleep for a couple of days, on a budget and in the city center. Couple of good bakeries...More
I stayed 3 nights in a single room. The position is excellent (I never had to use public transportation to get to places) and the cleanliness of the place was adequate (maybe they need to change the shower towel every day if the customer leaves...More
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
