Our host was great and we had a very relaxing stay. Best value of all the places we stayed on this trip. Good location with a bus stop only 100 feet from the property. The sun room on the top floor is very nice. We will defiantly go here again when we come back to Florence.

Excellent service from the local hosts! I booked relatively last minute and Guissie welcomed me with open arms early in the morning. Spacious rooms and a friendly dining and reading area exclusively for guests.

Good welcome, free parking inside the garden, friendly breakfast and good position. The villa is located 3 klm far from Ponte Vecchio , downtown Firenze. Unfortunately there is no tv in the rooms but only one shared tv in the living room.

I stayed there with my friends and lt was great experience for us. Beds Are comfortable. Building and area are historical and magnificent architecture. Hotel amenities are enough to spent your time, hotel employees are friendly and helpful, for money that you are spending will worth it .

Stayed on two separate occasions. Once, by myself while dropping my son off at NYU Florence and a second time, with my mother and sister while visiting in October. Both times I had a great stay. The villa is clean and tidy. There are no TV's in the room - but Florence is at your doorstep - I didn't even...

This is a private owned villa, and you notice that the moment you walk inside. Animal lovers be aware ivory is on display, but this collection seems to rate back a few generations. The room I stayed was... well, maybe not perfect (the yellow room), was old Italian style and not really my choice of color. There was no TV...

Beds not comfortable, and no TVs in rooms. Our friends' room had mold in the shower. Also, WiFi was not working when we were there, although the ISP was apparently to blame. Owner was not really very friendly either. All in all, this was our least favorite place on our 2 week trip.

A lovely place, with secure parking, which was important to us. Very friendly, relaxed and hospitable hosts. The room was spacious, bathroom well appointed and the facilities available good. Breakfast was good, lovely cappuccino and pastries! would walk into the city and bus back as up hill walk after sightseeing a bit of a challenge We would certainly go back to...

We recently traveled to Florence and stayed for a week at Villa La Sosta with another couple. Florence was in the middle of a serious heat wave with temps near 100. The Villa La Sosta accommodations could not have been better with a nice large air conditioned room to sleep in; a welcome relief during the heat wave. The morning...

We have been going to Villa La Sosta since 2004. It just gets better. Giuseppina is just like family. We and another couple stayed there for a week from 6/27 to 7/4/2015. This was in the middle of a European heatwave and the air conditioning was a big plus. As usual, Giusy recommended places to go and things to do...

“The Villa is a quiet enclave inside Florence and includes off-street parking.”

“Our room was great. Our friends also loved their room. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the rooms. They all looked lovely.”

“We stayed in the Camera Dei Nonni which was so very charming and comfortable, if you don't mind a more antiquated hand-held shower. The AC unit is a bit loud but I slept better than I ever have while traveling and I think it was the white noise effect! Loved this room...”

“If you’re sensitive to noise, ask for a room in the back if available, as light traffic noise from the road can reach the rooms in the front.”
