No coffee.. 2 small bags of sugar and no milk... Yes there is a balcony you can use but it's shared with an...

I would really recommend this tiny hotel in the heart of Florence. Clean overall, decent breakfast counting that is included.Friendly staff at reception. The only inconvenience for older peoples is the ramp of stairs at the entrance... long one. I will go back.

My friend and I were backpacking Italy and had booked comfort budget accommodation all over Italy. We had chosen this type of accommodation as our trip was extremely fast paced and we knew we needed comfortable private rooms to sleep in. Up until florence we had been presented with lovely simple, value for money rooms. This was even the case...

Very basic hotel, a room to sleep and a bathroom. That's it. The room was very clean, the beds very comfy and the bathroom was oké. We had a room on the 3rd floor. The airco worked but made some annoying noise (even when switched off). I slept with earplugs in and that was enough to have a good night...

Excellent hotel located on one of the narrow streets in the city center. I liked the general comfort of the place, as well as the friendliness of the staff. Breakfast OK. Will definitely come back here at some point.

I have stayed all over in Europe and this was the best place I've stayed in- granted it was 10 years ago, I can't vouch for it now. It is a 1-star hotel, so don't expect anything fancy, but we felt so welcome and gained so much knowledge just from the owner/manager enough to make it worth it, ten times...

Excellent location near many historic sites and the train station, too. Staff speaks English and are very helpful. Comfortable room. for such a convenient location, it's even better because the street is so quiet. I totally recommend this hotel with one caveat: if you are mobility-impaired you need to know there's no elevator. It's a nice place and worthy of...

Just spent the night there and was thrilled with the location and the service. I had a ton of questions before I arrived re: directions, accommodations, hairdryer in room, etc...and each email was answered promptly and with such courtesy ..especially by Egli..the manager. It is on a tiny street away from the noise and tourists, but near the main streets...

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in Florence this month and stayed at hotel Esperanza. We really enjoyed our stay there as the hotel had just been renovated. All the furniture were new, the rooms were cleaned daily and the staff was extremely helpful. They catered to all of our needs and gave us tips how to get around...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
