Our stay at Al Canto B&B was a big highlight of our trip to Italy. The family owned and operated home is absolutely beautiful and in a lovely neighborhood. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and modern, yet in an antique setting. The location was superb. A quiet place to come back to after a long day of touring. It... More

I have stayed at Al Canto more than once and I find this delightful B&B perfect for my visits to Florence. The rooms are big and airy, the beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms clean with every amenity. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The large dining room is always open if one wants to make a cup of tea or... More

A wonderful piece of tranquility to venture into Florence and the Tuscany region. Perfectly situated with a short bus ride into Florence and just a few blocks from the start of the infamous Chianti wine trail to Siena. Nick and Linda were friendly and so accommodating. If you get a chance, ask Linda about some pointers on art history before... More

This beautiful B&B made for a wonderful and unique Tuscan experience. It was perfectly situated on the edge of downtown and close to the Tuscan hills, wine region and the cute town of Fiesole. It was very easy to get to the centre by a ten minute bus ride. The bus was only a couple of blocks from the apartment.... More

My wife and I spent a long weekend at Al Canto after a 2 week tour of Turin, Milan, Venice and Florence. Al Canto is an amazing family run B&B. The rooms are extremely spacious and clean. The entire complex has been beautifully renovated with exposed brick. There is a courtyard in the centre of the B&B which provides a... More

At least that's the local folklore concerning this lovely B&B whose origins on this site date to the Middle Ages. Fear not travelers, having recently stayed for several nights we can assure you that the accommodations are vastly improved over what the poet must have experienced. The ground floor room in which we stayed was well appointed, comfortable and quiet,... More

We stayed with Linda over the holidays and had a wonderful time. When we arrived via train we took a taxi to the B&B, took about 5-7 minutes to get there. Upon arrival we were greeted by Nick and shown to our lovely and huge rooms. We had a wonderful room on the first floor. The bed was SO comfortable!... More

A group of 6 of us stayed here for 3 nights in early October, before going on to Siena. The rooms were all immaculate. Linda our host, greeted us with a chilled bottle of wine, and made us all very welcome. The building itself has loads of character - part of it is an old tower from the middle ages,... More

We stayed here for a few nights and found the accommodation excellent and very romantic. The room was lovely and it opened out onto a beautiful little courtyard where we could have breakfast. The guesthouse is situated a little way outside of Florence, which would be a downside if you really wanted to be in the heart of things, but... More
