We had a great 4 nights here, it got better on the second day when we found the heater hiding under the curtains. We had a beautiful large room, we felt like we were staying in a palace. The bathroom is nicely renovated with a great shower. The wifi is the best that we have had in Europe. The breakfast...

I had a suite which was amazing. Beautiful bathroom, tub, separate shower, living room and great bedroom. Central heating and air conditioning. Very cosy. Great breakfast. Staff helpful. B&B is on the first floor served by 3 flights of stone stairs. I left my luggage downstairs and the charming young lady in reception brought it up. The location is perfect.

Well located, excellent value, quiet comfortable large rooms in old Palazzo. Very fast wifi. Nice bathroom. But beware there is no elevator and no help so we had to carry/drag our suitcases upstairs. Apart from that - hotel is to be recommended.

Hotel located at the first floor of a palazzio. I have been given a very nice room with a huge bathroom and a small but very nice terrasse. This hotel cannot be described as all rooms are different. It is very well located and breakfast was very good. Staff was just OK. It is a very good price/quality compromise.

This hotel is just awful. The hotel occupies the first floor of a multi-purpose building. Don't be fooled by claims of a health club on their website, that just means that a non-related spa occupies another floor of the same building. The ground floor entrance to the building is very sketchy, especially at night when the motion-sensored lights go out....

Dear Guests, Thank you for saving some of your time for us and reviewing our property. First things first, we would like to rectify some incorrect information about the residenza, which could be very misleading for other users, specially judging from their provocative tone and the slightest consideration given to the passion and dedication we put in our job. We stayed in the Selene Suite and were blown away. This Hotel is charming and in a great location. The staff was very friendly, and provided great insight in the City. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Florence that has a wow factor you will find the rooms here amazing. Our room Giove was simply stunning and felt like we were in a royal palace. This is a B&B and the breakfast is ok but do not be put off from visiting here just because of breakfast. The...

Nice place. Very clean room, bathroom, and towels. Provided amenities were very good and sufficient. Having a balcony is a plus, although we didn't use it :) The 16th century kitchen is really neat. Breakfast was very good and had good variety for such a small BnB. Free internet was available, but half of the time we were there it...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
