One day the receptionist insisted we leave our key behind the desk, this is fine. However when we returned in the evening the receptionist said he no longer had our key and suggested we try the door. When we arrived back to our room door our key was just dangling in the key hole. Thankfully all our processions remained in... More

I booked this hotel because it was close to the train station...however, I didn't know there are 2 train stations in Florence, which this hotel was NOT close to the station that I needed it to be. With that being said, this is a nice hotel, nothing spectacular, the people are friendly, BUT there is a language barrier, I do... More

It is a shame that the welcome at this hotel was not as warm as the air conditioning (which was not fit for purpose). We arrived a little bit early about forty minutes and we were told that we were too early for the room. I asked if there was anywhere we could get a coffee while we waited and... More

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel in Firenze, and before our arrival, we didn't have high expectations. However, even with low expectations, we felt shocked when we arrived. When we entered the lobby, and went to the reception desk, the man behind the desk looked like he had just gotten out of bed even though it was far... More

We had a wonderful time in this hotel. The family running the hotel is very helpful and kind - Franco is also very knowledgeable about Florence. The hotel is only 15 minutes from Florence city center by bus and 20 minutes walking distance from Piazza del Duomo.

The hotel was a little pricy for what it was, the towels were stained, no shampoo (just showergel and soap) and no airconditioning was available, just a ceiling fan. The receptionists did not speak english, communicating wasn't easy. We weren't told where the breakfastroom was and thereby unvoluntarily skipped the first 2 days. Besides that, it was ok :)

My biggest problem with that hotel was the receptionist! The rudest and not helpful ever.. He was like "No check in now" and thats is and he just left us and he does not speak english and it was terrible dealing with him. Location was good. It wasnt that close to the city center but you can still walk there... More

The service was very friendly and did their best to make our stay in the hotel a very warm, almost family-like, stay whenever we would come back from our trip into the city centre. The room had a very nice view and a walk out sun room. The beds were really comfortable. The room was always spotless. The view was... More

I arrived this hotel without booking and made an enquiry if there is any room available, the answer is yes. And the price is €70 with no breakfast. I questioned as I just checked booking .com one minute ago and price is €55 including b'fest. But the rude reception said it's special price for online booking. I then said that... More

when my wife said she wanted to go to Italy, I thought of this place, because it is incredibly romantic, and full of energy, very friendly service as always, on the plus side is that it is easy access to public transport, good food while we ate dinner, rather the city, the price ok, everything is good and nice.

“Personally, I liked the rooms on the top floor because they had the sun room to walk into. But for all rooms I'd recommend bug repellent of some kind, and if there is a fan in the room, then turning it on.”

“In case you read about complaints mosquitos, keep the window closed at night and don't forget to switch on the insect exterminator plugged near the entrance. Otherwise, the area is very clean and very safe.”
