We stayed here in late August. The apartment was clean and spacious for 2 adults and 3 children. We had a double bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a fold away bed. The kitchen was well equipped to enable us to cook evening meals every other night. There is a small co-op in Rignano about 10mins...

We spent a week in this peaceful farmhouse. Very conveniently located, only five minutes by car to the train station in Sant Ellero, 30 minutes away of Florence. We used Petrognano as the base to visit as much as we could in Tuscany: Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena and Montepulciano, which are all amazing sites to visit. Niccolo...

We've stayed at plenty of B&B's over the years and while this was a first for us at an Argriturismo Farmhouse, we have to say that we've never felt so welcomed before. Niccolo met us as we came up the driveway and gave us a wonderful welcome, the timing of which couldn't have been better, since we were driving back...

We have just spent a week at Niccolos lovely Tuscan farmhouse. The setting is absolutely stunning. Niccolo has put a lot of effort in maintaining the property, it was immaculate and traditional. You get to the house up a winding road and you do rely on the car to get anywhere but it's well worth it as the views are...

We stayed here early August 2016. The farmhouse is in a great location just a few kilometres from the train station in St Elerro and a 30 minutes train ride to Florence. Large car parks at the station. We received a warm welcome from Niccolo who was on hand to help out in any way, in particular his restaurant recommendations...

This old olive grove and vineyard is run by a mother-daughter team, Carla and Angelica. They were gracious and helpful. We enjoyed a tour of the olive factory and wine making cellar. Our daughter played with other guests children in the pool. Our only regret was that we did not have more time. We are already planning our trip back.

We stayed at this agriturismo instead of staying in Florence. The farmhouse is impeccable--very well cared for and very very clean. We loved the entire experience. We caught the train (which was about 1 km away from the farmhouse) into Florence each day, it was a 25 minute ride. We loved going to Florence and enjoying the busyness of it,...

Our Tuscany experience was made more memorable with our stay in this farmhouse. Tucked up in the hill, it has a splendid view of Tuscany's vineyards and rolling hills. The vista, comforts of home and the interior details bring out that Tuscan magic. The family, an entourage of 17, only has happy thoughts of this hidden sanctuary. We stayed for...

My husband and I recently visited and we will definitely return. We were looking for a Tuscan experience with the hills and wineries while also being able to hit Florence - this was better than we could have imagined! Location - Perfect accessibility for what we were after. It's located about a 30 minute drive from Florence city center. I...

In the hills of Tuscany, completely private yet minutes from stores, the train station, the wonders of Florence, and even a local luxury outlet, Agriturismo Petrognano is a gem we discovered over a decade ago and have returned to as often as we can. Situated on a rise with a 360-degree view of Tuscany, in the midst of olive orchards,...

“If possible, stop on your way in and get some basic grocery supplies. They provide the basic amenities like linens, soap, etc., but the rooms have a full kitchen and frig, so arriving with supplies is helpful. Directions to the farm can be a bit confusing, so be sure you have a good resource like Goggle Maps to get you there the first time.”
