This hotel is great if you're just looking for a base to settle in for a few days. It has all the essentials and is very clean. Only negative comment I would make is the mattress is very very hard - making it difficult to sleep at night. The hotel staff did everything they could for us; giving us a...

Not the cleanest of hotels or the best kept but all of this is put aside for the wonderful atmosphere and service. You are made to feel safe and at home from the first second. Nothing is too much the breakfast is free and excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

Very basic hotel, but clean and the breakfast was reasonable. There is a bus to the main train station, but it only runs every 15-30 minutes, so you could be waiting for some time - a taxi is about E20.

The room was awful. Cold and stark. Cleanish would describe my experience. There was a high ceiling and basic light fitting that illuminated a dirty footprint of all things. Cracked tile in the shower. Cold nights with a blanket that could have been given a wash. The redeeming feature was that the staff were helpful and friendly and went out...

The hotel is good, clean and functional. Very efficient staff and an excellent breakfast. It's about three miles from the popular centre of Florence. Not a big deal usually except that Florence is undergoing a large number of public infrastructure projects simultaneously. Traffic is slow and heavy (but not like London). However, once you reach downtown Florence, all is forgiven....

The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful but a typical 3 star hotel in Italy underwhelming. Very basic accommodation and very small shower. You needed to catch the number 22 bus into town which took some 20 minutes but it took you into the centre. Very cheap and effective bus service. Area seem a little low but neer...

A three star hotel on the outskirts of Florence, very limited facilities, there is a small bar which does offer snacks but beware this is in the form of crisps and nuts no meals. The rooms are large and rather impersonal. However the staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble, so coming home one night wet and cold,...

On 22 circular bus route from Florence Santa Maria Novella train station. Hotel in reasonably quiet location. Appeared to be family run and we found staff polite and helpful. They loaned us 2 UK to Italian adapters (needed 1 for our travel kettle). Room airy with balcony. Clean and quietly positioned. Breakfast as per many other hotels in Italy, cereal,...
