We checked in around 10pm upon arriving in Florence via train from Rome. We were a little tired and weary after the journey. Not the cleanest of hotels or the best kept but all of this is put aside for the wonderful atmosphere and service. You are made to feel safe and at home from the first second. Nothing is too much the breakfast is free and excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

Very basic hotel, but clean and the breakfast was reasonable. There is a bus to the main train station, but it only runs every 15-30 minutes, so you could be waiting for some time - a taxi is about E20.
