4 of us in a 4 bed private bathroom. It was very basic. But comfortable. The bathroom is small but clean and we had nice big clean towels. Beds were comfortable. Wasn't too far from the centre or the train station. Walking from the hotel to the centre was about 15-20 mins, not even if your a fast walker but...

We had a Quad room for the four of us. The room looked exactly like the pictures. We had a private bathroom that is small but functional. Had wifi access in our room. We didn't realize this hotel was in a restricted driving zone in Florence. The hotel staff were very helpful in getting that resolved for us. If you...

The Hotel d'Azeglio really made my first trip to Italy. My dad and I arrived early afternoon for check in and were welcomed by a wonderful lady on the desk who proceed to provide us with a map in which she circled places we should visit. We saw almost all of what she recommended and it really did make our...

I spent 3 nights at the Hotel d'Azeglio in Florence in April 2016. The hotel was within easy walking distance of all the sights. The room was clean and comfortable. On arrival the receptionist gave us a map and some orientation tips, including which buses go where, without our asking. She also helped us out with printing our boarding passes...

Great location to stay. A short 15 minute walk to il duomo. We were able to buy bus tux at the tabacco shops and take the 6 or the 13 anywhere we wanted which picked us up right by the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and there were extra blankets when it was chilly. 2 star style room but...

This hotel is in a good location for seeing Florence. Not too far a walk from major attractions, but far enough that you are in a quiet area near a nice park. The room is bare bones (bed, desk, lamp) and the bathroom needs updating, but the hotel is clean and the staff is very VERY friendly and helpful. Pros:...

Hotel was in a good location only 10 minutes walk to the main sights of Florence. The hotel staff were very helpful in directing us where to go as well as very accommodating. We stopped an extra night and as the room wasn't ready offered to put our bags in the new room. Didn't have the breakfast but seemed good...

This is a great budget hotel. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and Florence in general. We had a double room which had air conditioning and an en-suite. Our room was tidied and we got fresh towels each day. The breakfast is basic but absolutely fine and the hotel is clean. The only criticism is the unreliable...

Pros: The staff was very friendly. Good location in the city centre. Clean rooms. Cons: The hotel is older, has no elevator. The air conditioning was not working the first day of our stay, but the staff solved it.

I stayed in a double room, it was a nice sized room. The room was cleaned daily. It was air conditioned. Sound proof windows so I didn't hear any noise from the street. Shower was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Within 10 minutes walk of main tourist attractions.

“Not sure about the other rooms, but our room's window was not facing the road. I assume these rooms are quieter - there weren't very many other people staying here and there were a lot of rooms, so we didn't have immediate next-door neighbors so internal and external noise was not an issue.”
