After reading a number of reviews for the Capri Moon we decided to book it for part of our honeymoon travels in Italy. I can say that it exceeded my expectations, and Franco was wonderful. I could be slightly biased because we had reserved one...More
To expand upon what I stated in my title, I needed something close to the shops and something that was of good value. Capri Moon was in an ideal location, was a good value and Franco (The owner) was great. I didn't have my needs...More
This is a splendid choice for a stay in Florence. The central location on a classy Florentine street is superb, and the host, Franco is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well decorated.
The room was spacious, clean and reasonably well decorated. However, the windows were not properly installed and the noise from the very busy roads on both sides was terrible. The breakfast was coffee and pastry (nothing on Sunday as the Cafe is closed). The bathroom...More
This place was great. Ask for the large bedroom room right outside reception. The B&B's location was perfect. It was on the upscale shopping street but also adjacent to the historical district. Be sure to ask Franco for dinner recommendations. He was right on.

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
