Great spot for our few days in Florence, close to the train station, to all the happening streets, bars and restaurants. The rooms were big and breakfast was enough. The staff made you feel very welcome and happy to assist with anything. Would recommend for your stay in Florence, it is no frills but was perfect for what we needed.

We stayed for three nights at the Duca D'Aosta which is located within walking distance of the Novello train station. We had a nice large room with a fridge. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast but enough to get you going for the day. The best part about the hotel is the extremely friendly gentleman on the front desk. As soon as we arrived he couldn't do enough for us and recommended places to eat and the best way to get around. He was the friendliest person we met on our three city tour of Italy. Definitely a good location for getting to all the tourist sites and I would certainly recommend it to budget minded travellers.

Convenient to the train station and clean. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast minimal but tasty. It is on the second (3rd) floor with a very slow lift, so we took the steps. The desk clerk is uber friendly. A good value at 75 Euro for 2.

Great place! It is very suitable for tourists. Very close to the central train station of Florence. Within walking distance to the center of tourist attractions. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Advice us for everything. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast in typical Italian style - delicious food and unique coffee! We are very pleased with our choice for this hotel.

Since we check in we felt really welcomed by the owners. They give us a lot of tips and info about the spots in Florence, as well as a map where they mark the most important tips. The rooms was big, bed comfortable, very clean place. It has AC working perfectly. Very close to the center by walk and also 3 minutes away from railway station. You also will find a lot of little supermarkets near by. The breakfast was very good, european type, not american. The owners were always asking if we need something else during all our stay. They got a old lift to get to the second floor where you will find the reception(its a beautiful building with other hotels in it). Its old but very efficient and classy. The wi-fi could work a bit better but rather this, you will spend a nice time here…

Really great place very close to the central station. Both hotel receptionists were so helpful and friendly gave us loads of information about Florence, and also about Rome where we were travelling afterwards. We arrived later than expected and the reception was closed but the man came so quickly from his home just to let us in we really appreciated if because we were so tired!!
