It is a very nice place to stay, the rooms are huge and cosy, the bed is very large and the atmosphere is very nice too. We stayed there for three nights. The rooms are cleaned every day, you are given big white fluffy towels, the bed is made every day and the people are extremely nice. They gave us...

I travelled with my 16yr old daughter and chose this accommodation since reviews said the proprietor (Luca) was friendly and helpful and gave tips about how to travel around the city and what to see. This is exactly what we experienced.....and more! I unfortunately had my handbag stolen when we were at a restaurant (- make sure you keep your...

Where do I start? I feel bad writing this review because the owner is a nice man. However, I have to be honest. The room itself is okay, clean and big. However, the acoustic of this place is terrible.. By 7 am you are woken up by people talking, getting in the bathroom, yelling, entering the kitchen, cleaning.. I don't...

5 Sensi was a great place to stay- clean, with a great host. Stefano offered us a cappuccino/coffee even though we were not paying for breakfast. Our room was very spacious, with a great wine shop and bakery in the near vicinity. The location of 5 Sensi was a little distant from the city center, but we were fine with...

Don't be put off if you look at a map and think this is too far from the centre because it's not. It's a great location. Close to a bus route if that's your preference otherwise a delightful walk into the centre. Head off down Via Bartolomeo and a pleasant 20 min walk will take you to the Accademia (stopping...

As mentioned in other reviews, Stefano was brilliant. Email communication prior to arrival were very helpful. He gave us a call after the estimate arrival time we gave as he was concern as to where we were. Stefano was a great source of tourist information, recommending 10 trip bus tickets that can be picked up from the tobacco store down...

Cinque Sensi is a lovely place to stay in Florence. The owner, Stefano, is very easy to deal with and is remarkably friendly and helpful. He offered us a cappuccino upon arrival in Florence- much appreciated after an early morning train ride! The rooms are large and in a beautiful building. We had heard others complain about noise in the...

For our first trip in Florence, I was looking for a clean, affordable accommodation in a safe and not too touristy area. B&B 5 Sensi met our expectations. It is a bit far from the Old town but the 20mn walk is pleasant and allowed us to discover the neighborhood away from the hordes of tourists. We discovered an excellent...

We stayed there for 3 nights. Booked online, fairly easy to find with public transport. Not so close to the Old Town, but a 20minute walk through the streets of Florence is always welcome, at least for us it was. Every room is very nicely decorated. The building is old and beautiful. Very quiet as well, which cannot be said...
