We arrived by ferry from Bastia, Corsica & called a taxi to take us to this quaint hotel! Glad we did too, it would have been a little too far to schlep our luggage through the port & town. Concierge was very polite, helpful and a kind soul. Room was clean, nice and quiet; overlooked into their garden. (Shower was...

Beautiful and elegant little hotel with charm and character. Very central, friendly staff and a beautiful little garden to relax and enjoy breakfast. Stayed in the Puccini room. Fairly small room but very comfy king-size bed, all well arranged and with a good sized bathroom . Aircon did not seem to work very well however and shower floor definitely needs...

On the plus side this hotel is central and recently refurbished. Although very clean there was an unpleasant chemical smell in the bathroom. Even with the bathroom door closed and bedroom window open you could smell it in the room. The room was rather small and the matress not great, which would have been Ok had it been a bit...

Stunning little hotel, immaculate throughout with the best garden i have seen in a hotel, sit out for breakfast or a night time drink. Wonderful friendly staff. Only little picky point was not a brilliant breakfast but other than that it is faultless.

A lovely independent little hotel... just the sought of thing I'd love to find more of on TripAdvisor. The owner gave us fantastic advice on places to have dinner, so best ask at reception before heading out into the great unknown!

Al Teatro is a lovely small family run hotel in a quiet but central area of Livorno, about a ten minute walk to the centre of the city and the harbour. Our room was spotlessly clean and had a large bathroom. If I was visiting Livorno I would definitely stay there again.

Al Teatro is situated on a small side street in the center of Livorno. 10 minutes walk to the old town or to the sea promenade. There is not much traffic on the street, so it was quite quiet. We had a room on the side of the garden, so it was just bird song we heard. The staff was...
