The location is beautiful and the whole place spotless and very well run. The views from the terrace are breathtaking and you feel like that you have arrived somewhere very special. We we treated like dear friend, not like customers. The warmth and care given by Alexandra was amazing and she spent a lot of time making sure that we... More

Alessandra and Simona are great hosts and very friendly as well as supportive and caring. It was a wonderful stay and we would like to come back. From B&B point of view, everything (room, cleanliness, food, surroundings, athmosphere etc) was excellent.

What a location high in the Tuscan mountains outside of Lucca. Despite an exciting drive up to the property (don't miss it as the road narrows dramatically), the hospitality of Alessandra and Simona was second to none. We throughly enjoyed their own wine, local meats and delicious bruschetta. The grounds were immaculately maintained and the tour revealed a host of... More

The winding road to get to this hilltop home/farm was part of the uniqueness of this place. So was their modest vineyard tour, the mimosa tree (never seen such a specimen) & the views from their patio. Simona & Alexandria are warm & accommodating hostesses. They shuttled us down to Lucca the evening of our stay and then picked us... More

My wife and I recently spent three nights in this friendly and cozy bed and breakfast which is in a home on a beautiful working vineyard and olive farm sitting on a high perch overlooking Lucca. As previous reviewers have said, Alessandra and Simona are wonderful hostesses. Our first night dinner with home grown ingredients including the wine and olive... More

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at L'uccelliera Ospitalita. Alessandra and Simona were very hospitable, warm and friendly. Alessandra and Simona are fantastic hostesses who welcome you to the small farm that is L'Uccillieras - olive groves, vineyards ( sample the produce from both!), fruit trees, chickens, rabbits. Nothing is too much for them; they will pick you up in Lucca, tell you where to park free in Lucca, go on shopping expeditions for the best prosciutto with... More
