We booked for a weekend and we were lucky to have stayed here. Arianna knew exactly the right places to go in Lucca and was very friendly in helping us.

The room was very nice, the bed was comfy and the bathroom clean.
Every morning we had a lovely breakfast made by Arianna and her mom. Typical Italian ;)

The B&B is about 10min walk from the train station, but that wasn't a problem for us.

We arrived from Pisa Airport and you can choose to take a direct bus to Lucca or a train to Pisa and transfer there. We took the bus, and that meant we had to walk a bit extra to get to the B&B (the bus does did not stop at the train station but on another side of Lucca). If you have heavy bags, you might want to take the train, saves you some extra walking time.

Lucca is a great place to discover! Romantic plans or active plans, everything is possible. Renting a bike is also easily done.

Oh.. and don't forget to try the ice cream in Lucca.. delicious!

I have spent a few days here. I enjoyed the green environment. The staff was very kind, polite, friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious, tidy with a panorama overlooking the mountains. The beakfast were very rich and there was a wide selection of local dishes, and the food was delicious.I liked the nice little garden in font with a fruit-tree. The train is very close, so I could visit other marvelous cities too!

Very clean, tidy, excellent ensuites. Good coffee, homemade cakes for breakfast (although Arianna makes good scrambled egg). Quiet, parking no problem, 15 min walk to city wall. Lucca lovely city. Almost everyone walks or rents a cycle. Cars mostly banned. Good pasta, ice-cream, Puccini...

Stayed for 3 nights on a recent trip to Lucca. The B&B is close to the train station and about a 10 minute walk from the city walls. Arianna and her mother are, as all the other reviews have said, delightful. They could not have done more to help us and were keen to chat and tell us about the sights. The B&B is very comfortable and clean with a lovely little patio we made use of every night. Breakfast was great- try the fantastic homemade cake! Highly recommended.

You feel like home.
If you really want to try the feeling of an Italian home, than this is the perfect choice!
This place is a little gem in Lucca, run by Arianna and her mamma Rosetta, both amazing, with their kind manners and accommodating ways.
B&B is 60's style, every single details reminds of those back times.
Breakfast is very generous, with homemade cakes, biscuits and italian chats between clients to wake you up! Feels like home.
We have a little one of 1 year old, and they prepared for him a cosy cot bed.
Good size bedroom, and parking is literally in front of the accommodation.
City centre is jus 10min walking.
The place to be in Lucca!

A last minute booking to escape the weather in Germany - we were meant to leave a day later to go to our next destination in Tuscany. So glad we did. We were clearly lucky to get our family room as the B and B seems very popular. The family room was far better than we expected - a lovely big room with lots of character. We had a pleasant walk into Luca in the evening and the bonus of being situated just outside the walls meant we had parking included which was essential for us. The host was lovely- very friendly and welcoming and helpful too. Would definitely recommend this B and B!

The B&B is very close to the town of Lucca, and the train station, which allowed us to park our car and walk to town. We were also able to walk to the train station, which we did one day and took a train to Florence. Adriana and Mom were very nice hostess. They prepared a nice breakfast each day and were helpful with suggestions on where to eat and thing to see in Lucca. The rooms rates were very reasonable.
We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We spent a couple of days there during our time in Lucca. The room was big, the bed comfy and it was all very clean and tidy. In the morning the owner and her mom make a delicious breakfast for their guests and it really made us feel at home. During our trip through Tuscany, we were unsure about our next destination due to bad weather forecasts in some areas. The owner and her mom took ample time to take out a map, explain a bit about all the areas they recommended and even made a phone call to one of their friends who owns a hotel in one of the beach areas to make sure we got a discount!! We were absolutely delighted!

We stayed at B&B Angelini's for two nights on our way to Cinque Terre but returned for a night as we loved it so much. This large family home is outside of the wall in the suburbs, about a good 10 mins walk. This did not worry us as we preferred to walk and stay away from the busy area. The garden is gorgeous and so inviting. Arianna, the charming host, greeted us and gave us a map recommending restaurants and places of interest. Breakfast was great with homemade cakes, cereals, breads and eggs if you wish. The room was very comfortable and clean. Arianna was only too happy for us to leave one of our bags there while we went for a night to Cinque Terre and it was in our room when we returned. She even found a moisturiser, which I had left in our room.
If you are looking for a warm friendly, comfortable home to stay in on your visit to Lucca, then this is the place. I loved it.

Whenever we visit Lucca we always stock up on the locally produced olive oil, the quality of which is among the best in Italy (and therefore in the World). Not too much though, because running out means that we have an excuse to return to the city and to Angelini. We stumbled upon this B&B some seven years ago in search of a cheaper alternative for a stay in Florence. Now we go back whenever we can. We just returned from our fourth stay. Perfect as always and in fact even more so, because now there is free (and speedy) WIFI available. So I foresee the consuming of massive quantities of olive oil in the coming months, anything to go back to Lucca and Angelini soon. Someday we might not want to leave there anymore.

"When coming to this hotel, there is one intersection to avoid because it is so busy, very hard to get thru it. Your gps map system may tell you to go on Viale Europa to turn left onto Viale San Concordio. There are ways around this intersection, and if possible you should try to avoid it. It is about 4-5 blocks from the b&b."
