A stylish and perfectly run house. The rooms are very tastefully decorated with many antique objects and with great attention to detail to match the Villa style. The bedroom and bathroom with shower with glass doors were picobello hygienic and clean. The owner couple welcomed us as if we were friends who came to visit. They took warm care of us and our wishes. The restaurant recommendations were to our liking, and the food offered at the Villa we also enjoyed very much. Breakfast from the buffet with a nice selection and egg dishes of your choice was served on the covered terrace overlooking the beautiful garden and the swimming pool. Not only for "latecomers" you get a remote control for the electric courtyard gate (parking in the courtyard is free) and the room key is also the front door key. We all found our short break at Villa La Preziosa very relaxing and enjoyed.

This delightful B&B located on the outskirts of Lucca about 5 km from the city center is an oasis of peace and perfect hospitality. The only advice is not to choose if you don't have a car because reaching the beauties of Lucca becomes complex. But the hospitality of the family who renovated the Villa with taste and refinement and the pleasantness of the rooms make the stay absolutely pleasant and very relaxing. Even breakfast, served in the garden under a beautiful flowered pergola, is rich and delicious. In short, a place of the heart that is worth visiting if you pass by here!

We have just returned from our first visit to Tuscany, which was made all the more enjoyable from staying at the beautiful Villa la Preziosa. The Villa is within 10 minutes drive of the walled city and is a welcome haven of peace and tranquillity. Gunther and Barbara have created a wonderful villa. The decoration is classic and stylish and fits so well with a villa from the 1800s. You are certainly treated as a special guest, greeted with a warm welcome every day, and nothing is too much trouble.
We started the day with such a choice of fresh food for breakfast with the best cappuccinos and eggs. You can also have a pizza delivered to the hotel on evenings you wish to relax and share with the cute family doggie!! The suggestions we had for meals out were super. We also visited places that Barbara told us about on our first day, which were a great introduction to the area.
The room was lovely and spacious, looking out into the garden, and the nights were peaceful. The garden is impeccably maintained as is the whole villa, by not only the family, but a friendly team of staff.
If you are thinking of staying, don't think any longer. Just book as I absolutely promise you will not regret it.

Stunningly and painstakingly restored mansion in the suburbs of Lucca. Lovely and welcoming hosts, Gunther and Barbara, and their son Julian, all of whom couldn't do enough for us and the other guests - you're almost regarded as one of the family. Extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished rooms and an excellent breakfast. This accommodation is situated about ten minutes drive outside of the ancient centre of Lucca, so very convenient if you don't wish to stay inside the town centre. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Barbara and Günther were very friendly and recommended restaurants in Lucca and Monte Carlo. The rooms are tastefully decorated and nothing is missing! Breakfast is very rich and varied, the local cold cuts and cheeses delicious.
The garden with the pool is a treat for the eyes!
You can rent bikes to reach Lucca in just 10 minutes.
I want to thank Barbara for her time for explaining things about Lucca and more. I can really recommend this beautiful, elegant Villa!

This is an absolutely beautiful boutique hotel run by a wonderful family. The rooms are large, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The breakfast is scrumptious, with lots of fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, as well as eggs and beverages made to order. The location is excellent, very close to restaurants within the walls of Lucca. But the thing that stands out the most when you stay at Villa La Preziosa is that you feel so well cared for by this lovely, warm-hearted family. While we were there my adult son was celebrating a birthday. At breakfast that day, and as a complete surprise to us, the entire family and staff came out with a cake, singing happy birthday. I cannot imagine that this would happen in many hotels. If you plan to visit this lovely area, do yourself a favor and look no further than Villa La Preziosa.

We describe our stay at Villa La Preziosa as 'a dream'. Calm, intimate, spotlessly clean and run by the perfect hosts who were utterly charming. Nothing we asked was too much. The breakfast was beautiful. Huge tomatoes, cheese, fruit and pastries, eggs... We loved that we were able to order a pizza through the hotel when we arrived, so that we could enjoy a stress-free evening with a glass of (very good wine), whilst playing cards in our lovely surroundings.

On our trip in Tuscany we were searching for a Bed and Breakfast and we stumbled across this old, revitalized villa. In short: The villa, the rooms and the staff are extraordinary!
The villa is a bit outside of the city center of Lucca, but very well connected either by car or by bike, which can be rented at the Guesthouse. It is in a quiet surrounding and has a very nice garden with a swimming pool, a pergola full of grapes, Fig- and Kaki-Trees, Lemons and such. Perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The breakfast is very good with lots of different choices, fresh fruits and juices and freshly made scrambled eggs. The owners, Gunther and Barbara and their family are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They really care about their house, which the renovated from scratch. The staff, especially Sara, is also very kind and gives you tipps on what to do in the surrounding area.
We can recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Lucca in a special place and hope to be back soon!

Villa La Preziosa has been historically renovated with great attention to detail, but is also up to the latest standard. We felt extremely comfortable in the accommodation. The large, very beautifully landscaped garden invites you to linger and the breakfast on the terrace was a treat. In addition to the well-stocked buffet, various egg dishes can be ordered a la carte. The hosts are soooo friendly and service oriented. We can recommend this accommodation with a clear conscience !!!
