This review will be more negative than its forerunners. There were many aspects that we liked. Fantastic location, welcoming hosts, lovely breakfasts and a comfortable room. The swimming pool was good, although more and better condition sunloungers are needed, especially in August. We booked Ai Linchi on the strength of other reviews, particularly those that mentioned the excellent evening meals...

We stayed at Ai Linchi for only one night (unfortunately) on our way from Florence to Cinque Terre. When we arrived, we were greeted with a glass of local wine, and given many recommendations/helpful tips for how to spend our limited time in Lucca. The rooms and place is nothing overly fancy, but very comfortable and homey. When we went...

Andrea and Marco made our very large bunch completely comfortable. The meal on the first night was fabulous, accommodation was wonderful and when we lacked transport, Marco doubled as chauffeur as well. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to returning. Downside? Well, we had to leave at some point.

Although we didn't overnight here, our family members did. We came there daily to have breakfast and dinner with them. Angelo and Andrea (owners) welcomed us and treated us as they would their paying guests. The property and the rooms are very clean. The service is fantastic. Andrea is an incredible cook. The food he made for us was delicious....

The hotel was quaint and in a quiet part of Lucca. The walk into town was very pleasant. Our hosts Angelo and Andrea were very open and friendly. We would recommend this hotel as a base point for travels in and around Florence, Via Reggio and other areas in Tuscany. Wifi was not very strong.

We had an amazing trip traveling with our two sons, 2 yrs & 3 months. We stayed for 10 days in one of the farm houses which had everything we could have asked for. The house was very clean and we had plenty of room. Breakfast at the main house was a must stop every morning and we would plan...

We stayed two nights in this B&B and can only recommed it. It is about 10 min drive to Lucca, with beautiful views over the countryside. The rooms have aircondition and are nicely decorated. But the best, really the best is the food. Both nights we were there, we enjoed Andreas 6 course Menu with great whine and it was...

Angelo was wonderful, we were welcomed with a glass of lovely wine. The B&B is very close to Lucca, Pisa and the famous Cinque Terra villages. We had a ball, including a fantastic night with Angelo's cousin Vittorio who owns a great local winery. If you like wine stay at Ai Linchi and ask Angelo to book you in to...
