Lovely little place, just a five minute walk from the Leaning Tower and Duomo, and less than 20 minutes stroll from the train station. The owners were a nice, friendly couple who served breakfast of toast, crackers, pastries, juice and coffee in a lovely courtyard/garden. Look out for the tortoises who live in the garden

We have just returned from a week in Pisa and this is an excellent base from which to explore parts of Tuscany. The accomodation was simple but clean, spacious and with a quiet courtyard in which to relax. Our hosts were the most hospitable we have ever met - nothing was too much trouble. We were collected from the airport,... More

We arrived around 22:00hr. The owner didn't expect us untill the next day. Which was a surprise to us. We did'nt feel very welcome when he walked down the street, to see if there was room in an other horel for us. Eventually he decided we could stay with them. The room wasn't ready, which didn't matter because we wanted... More

I agree with previous reviews. Nothing fancy but if you just want an overnight (or two) to explore Pisa - it's a 5' walk from this courtyard-type accommodation to the Cathedral/Baptistry and Leaning Town. Nice places to eat. Armando couldn't have been more helpful - picked us up from the Airport with great generosity and pleasure. Also a stone's thrown... More

Just a few steps from the main sights, the rooms are very peaceful at the back of the building. Armando and Marianne were charming and excellent hosts. They gave helpful advice and even invited us to Armando's experimental theatre evening. As mentioned, Armando will take you to the airport and he doesn't drive like a taxi! He kindly allowed us... If you're looking for a clean, simple and quiet place to stay, in a very central location and at a reasonable price ... this is THE place! The owner Armando came to meet us at the airport and transfered us to the B&B in around 10 minutes. Location was great, five minutes walk to the tower and twenty to the... More

A Casa a Pisa is a welcoming, affordable B&B located in the center of Pisa. The host, Armando, even picked up at the airport, as our flight arrived quite late. In general, he was very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is light and adequate. I doubt there is a more fairly priced place in... More

We were delighted with our simple but spacious en suite room opening out onto a lovely little courtyard garden. Our host was so hospitable; he picked us up from the airport, gave us a map of Pisa and useful advice and even dropped us to the station the next day. The location is perfect , near to everything. Yes we... More

We stayed for one night; loved the owner Marianne and were very impressed with the garden and size of the room. Its not fancy, but was incredibly quiet and there was ample hot water. If in Pisa, we would definitely stay here again.

The Castro family, who own the B&B, began by meeting us at the airport and immediately made us feel at home away from home. The rooms open to the delightful garden, which is a real oasis in this busy city. As others have said, it is a short walk to just about anything you want to do, the Tower Piazza,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bed&Breakfast is situated in an elegant late XIX century building, only 200 m away from the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. We have named it "A Casa a Pisa" (as at home in Pisa) as we wished that all our guests would feel in Pisa as "at home." The studios, which have been recently renovated and offer comfortable facilities, are on the ground floor of the house and are composed by a large room, a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. All have free Internet wi-fi access and have all the comforts, right as "at home." Three, out of four, studios have direct access to a wonderful interior garden, just reserved for the guests, where, when the weather allows, it is served the abundant breakfast already included in the fee. The splendid location right in the centre of the town, the easily reachable position either by public transports or with private car, the quiet atmosphere, the generous breakfasts, the kindness of the staff, beyond the extremely convenient fees and the possibility to communicate in many languages, made our structure particularly appreciated and confirmed by the many guests, Italians and foreigners, that since 2001 have repeatedly experienced to feel as "at home in Pisa." On demand a free shuttle service is supplied to and from airport or railways station. In case of guests with private car, the municipality have supplied tickets that make possible the parking all over the town, except of course that in the Area of Restricted Traffic the accesses of which are watched by cameras. We are also happy to arrange tourist, cultural, wine-tasting and gastronomic tours; to rent bicycles, motorbikes, cars; to organize visits to shows and art exhibitions; to manage a shuttle service to and from the airport, the station and other destinations. ... more   less
