I came here with my wife spending a few days in Tuscany. The hosts were excellent and each morning provided us with places to see and things to do. The rooms we had were spacious and comfortable and the views from the room of San Gimignano’s Towers and the surrounding vineyards were amazing. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

We were two couples spending a few days in Tuscany. Fulvio was an excellent host and each morning provided us with places to see and things to do. He was so knowledgeable about Tuscany and Italy as a whole. The rooms we had were spacious and comfortable. The dinner meal that was prepared was fantastic, three courses with wine and...

I received a recommendation of Il Vicario on Trip Advisor when I was planning my trip to Italy. I wanted the Tuscan cooking school experience and this locale was highly recommended. I absolutely concur! This is a family owned B&B and the niece Katia does the instructions and her uncle Flávio cleans up. There were eight of us on our...

We were made to feel at home here thanks to the atmosphere created by Fulvio and Katia. They have a beautiful location and our room was very comfortable. It was nice to have the pool and we took advantage of it most every day. The other B&B guests were warm, friendly and we had great conversations. I had two cooking...

We had some friends recommend this place and boy are we glad they did! They had found it by happenstance during their trip to Italy and said it was just fabulous. We booked our trip through a travel agent, but they refused to book Il Vicario because it wasn't one of their normal booking accommodations. Thankfully we proceeded to book...

We attended a cooking class with Katia. There were two other couples present. Although there were varying levels of skill and experience Katia put everyone at ease and made the class fun for all. Not only did we learn a few dishes to bring home but we learned a lot about the base to all great Italian cooking. We also...

We attended one of Katia's Beginners' Cooking Classes on 5 September and had a fantastic time. There were 7 of us in our group and we all worked together, under Katia's expert guidance, to cook a feast, accompanied by local wines. The whole experience was excellent - and fun. We learned such a lot about Tuscan food, its origins, traditions...

A fantastic place to stay for anyone wanting to explore Tuscany while enjoying great hospitality. Fulvio was a wonderful host, as was Katia who was also around regularly, both able to offer great tips regarding the surrounding areas and happily helping with anything we needed. The daily continental breakfast was plentiful and varied, and our room was spacious and very...

There are so many options for cooking classes in Tuscany, but if you want a tasty hands-on experience which is fun for a family or small group, you must make lunch with Katia. We arrived and took pictures on the beautiful property. We then cooked pasta from scratch and mixed in all the ingredients ourselves. Our final lunch consisted of...
