It's a small hotel run by a family (Roberto, his wife Paola and their small son Cesare) with only four rooms. At the same time it is fantastically located - less than 15 minutes walk to San Gimignano city centre with a terrific view on the panorama of the city. We stayed for 4 nights in the Azure bedroom with...

We spent 4 nights at Locanda Viani. Roberto and his wife are a lovely couple and they made us feel so welcome. Their villa is very close to San Gimignano, about 10 minutes walk and its good to stay slightly outside of town because it gets extremely busy in San G. If you are looking for a relaxing stay with...

We got this bed & breakfast referral by our neighbours and i can honestly say it was far from being disappointing. Firstly this place is about a 10 minute walk to San Gimignano and is located in the beautiful mountains with lots of greenery. It is a very quiet area and the hosts Paola and Roberto are amazing. They were...

With incredible views of San Gimignano... we could not have asked for more! The owners of the Locanda were so wonderful, friendly and hospitable. They make you feel more like friends that are visiting...

We stayed in the yellow room during our three night stay at Locanda Viani. The room was very comfortable and clean, and adjoining balcony - stunning views of San Gimignano and the surrounding Tuscan country side. Roberto and Paola were fabulous hosts..Beautiful breakfasts of homemade dishes and friendly, helpful advice regarding things to do in the area. It is a...

The view from our private terrace was spectacular. ..with San Gimignano in the distance to the right and rolling hills to the left. But our room was actually quite uncomfortable - with a very small bedroom, no window and narrow stairs to a sitting area. There were also stairs to the bath room -just not a good room for anybody...
