Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was very beautiful, omfortable, quite and with a nice view. A bit cold this time of the year. I think during summer season it will be perfect, because all the facilities are available instead of now. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend for someone to go there.

This hotel is probably lovely in the summer when you can appreciate the pool but in October it is a little dismal. Rooms are tired and the hotel feels as if it needs a coat of paint and a revamp, Reception were very helpful snd upgraded our room when we complained . It is a little far out of town to walk easily and taxis work out expensive

My husband and I have now stayed at Hotel Garden Siena a couple of times, first earlier this year, and then during our wedding period in August 2023. We had our wedding in Florence but hosted our welcome dinner for wedding guests at Hotel Garden Siena, and had many of our guests staying there throughout our wedding period. Gianluigi and his team were absolutely phenomenal, and went above and beyond to make our stay and the stay of our guests perfect. The welcome dinner in the downstairs space was stunning, the staff were amazing and the food was so good. The views from the hotel are wonderful and the rooms make for a very comfortable stay. Comfortable beds, strong water pressure, and a lovely breakfast. There was plenty of parking and it's really easy to get into Siena from the hotel. We are so so grateful for the whole team, and want to thank them and Gianluigi for making our wedding period so special.

Siena was our second stop in Italy, and grateful that my friend found this gem of a hotel. I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful space, and the most accommodating staff. Not to mention the delicious breakfast that was included in our rate, and the beautiful views and gardens! We walked to the main town, which was approximately 35 minutes at our pace. When we came back in the evening and popped into the bar for a glass of wine, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable! My room was small, but very comfortable and well accommodated. I will definitely put this location and hotel on my list for future trips.

Lovely hotel in a garden setting overlooking Siena. You can get a number 6 bus into town if you prepay for a ticket. Stamp your ticket in the bus. Nice food friendly staff. Breakfast is good with a wide variety of foods. Pool is lovely and clean with many sun beds. Room clean and comfortable.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were great with wonderful views of Siena. Breakfast choice was very good and with options for gluten free diet. The walk into town is about 35 minutes or you can take a bus with tickets availableat reception. The bar was excellent and the pool area clean and tidy. The grounds are well maintained with ample parking. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The grounds are majestic. Breathtaking beautiful. We were greeted at the front desk by an accommodating young man who provided us with information about the hotel and city giving us a map as well. Our accommodations were very small and modest- however very clean and efficient. Housekeeping staff is incredible. Their attention to detail- bravo! The staff at breakfast buffet wonderful! Cheerful and keeping everything replenished and clean. Your bartender Atla was extraordinary. He is one in a million- really makes guests feel special. Two hiccups were front desk agent who chastised me when I approached her at the desk asking for robes for our room. She sternly informed me (in front of other guests) - AFTER- asking did I forget my robe? That it’s only for guests in DELUXE rooms. Loudly. No discretion. I didn’t think I was asking for something out of the ordinary. The other hiccup- it would be nice when entering the hotel you could get a friendly greeting now and then. Perhaps Atla can train some me of the staff in customer service!

We only stayed for one night while touring Tuscany but we wished we’d stayed for a few nights instead and used the hotel for a base as it was so lovely. The hotel was very conveniently positioned for walking into Siena and there was plenty of parking which was a priority for us. They were very helpful and friendly on reception and the rooms were very good. We had asked for two rooms near each other and we were given rooms next to each other. The breakfast was excellent too with lots of choice.

This hotel is a traditional hotel that has seen better days and it tired in places. Bedroom large and bright but bathroom small old in poor condition with broken taps. landscaped gardens with large swimming pool and loungers. Located a 35 minute walk from Siena, ample free car parking within the grounds. No english or international television channels on the tvs.

My husband and I had a wonderful weeks holiday in this lovely hotel. Our room had a fabulous view of the Tuscan countryside and it was spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts each morning were a real treat. The pool area was great. Plenty of sunbeds , very quiet and a large swimming pool. Perfect! It was very easy to walk into the centre of Sienna or catch the local bus and there was even a night bus for late night trips. Also easy to get to the station. The staff were friendly and very helpful . Only slight disappointment was the tennis court. This has not been maintained so you couldn't really play on it.
