Delightful setting with amazingly warm and helpful hosts, Franco and Franca. The Tuscan farm has been in Franco's family for 3 century's. They started the B&B about 18 years ago. Six rooms, very decent and. Omit, (but not sumptuous). The site as a whole is stunning and worthwhile. Gorgeous garden, pool, vineyard, flowers all around. The hosts are amazing, and...

It is highly suggested to have a car while visiting Frances Lodge. Franco mapped out our trips daily. We loved Pienza known for their Pecorino cheese. The shops are beautiful. We bought a piece and enjoyed back at Frances Lodge with a bottle of Altesino Brunello di Montalcino we had bought on the tour of the winery. The sun was...

Dear "Sarakati" Franco and I are pleased to hear you have such a nice memory of your stay with us. For us it is always a great pleasure when our guests appreciate our hospitality, and nothing is too much when we have to help "friends" visiting us. Happy to know that our dentist was good enough to save your vacation!...

We are remiss in not posting this sooner. We took our first trip to Italy at the end of September 2013 and the original plan did not include a stop in Sienna. We read about this place in Rick Steve's book and were very intrigued. After some wonderful email correspondence with Frances, we decided to change some plans and stay...

Took Rick Steve's recommendation and had a wonderful stay in a beautiful farm house lodge overlooking Siena. The lodge is even more beautiful and appointed than even the web site shows. A great attention to detail and ambiance. You could not find better hosts than Frances and his wonderful/lovely wife Franca. Warm accommodating and very helpful on Siena, Chianti, Florence...
