We stayed 3 nights in Oct 2016. Our grown daughter decided to join us, so she rented an apartment at the last minute. Therefore, we had the opportunity to see both a room and an apartment. Next time I think we will spring for an apartment as it's just a little roomier and there's an amazing patio/ balcony attached. The...

If you want a great location in Siena, do not hesitate to choose Borgo Grondaie. Not far from center, large rooms, warm service, delicious selection for breakfast. I'll give an extra star for sending back the necklace my wife forgot in the room. Thank you again!

Deliberately chose to stay out of the Old Town and so pleased we did. The location is convenient to station and has lots of parking. The grounds are superb and summer would be special, but the winter still allowed good walks on the icy grass. We were in the hotel part no room and facilities were fine and comfortable. The...

This property is very close to a large supermarket, but not much else. We were under the impression that it was a short walk into town, but that's not really true. It's quite a hike and you probably wouldn't want to do it after dinner. The property itself is pretty nice and our apartment was quite spacious. Stangely enough, although...

I spent a week in a flat that was rather comfortable. A bit noisy though, I could hear the neighbours talking and laughing (not all the time) and a person upstairs walking around on high-heels. But the service was perfect, very friendly (and professional) welcome. Plenty of things for breakfast. The rooms in the apartment were clean. The furniture is...

My husband and I spent only one night here, but we would have enjoyed more. This property is beautiful. We rented a room in the hotel area, which included breakfast, which was very nice. Our room had a kettle, tea bags, coffee, and a few small cakes making for a nice treat after our drive. The room and public areas...

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in mid Sept. We wanted a little tranquility but still be in striking distance of the centro. The BG has a ton of potential (some already realized). But I'm not sure i would return for a stay. I'm a little bit on the fence. Pros: 1. The hotel setting and grounds...

Dear Guest, thanks so much to find the time to write a so long review. I thank you for the "PROS" and I want to give my point of view regarding the "CONS". The travel experience is very individual and future guests need to have our point of view, too. 1: SAFE IN THE ROOM. First of all you have...

We thoroughly enjoyed a two-night stay at the lovely Borgo Grondaie...once we found it! It might be an idea to contact the reservation desk for directions before arrival--but once there you will be delighted with this garden-surrounded oasis. Once we had clearer directions, it was a manageable walk (and multiple escalator rides) to the old city of Siena--and lovely to...

Beautifully kept Tuscan grounds. Rooms were very clean and decorated in true Tuscan style. Staff very friendly and helpful with all queries. The buffet breakfast was wonderful in quality, variety and presentation. My daughter has multiple food allergies and staff were very helpful with all my queries and even made phone calls to find out what was in the locally...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon after a cruise and on our way to Rome. We wanted to stay longer. We loved Siena (in my opinion, better than Florence), the serenity was palpable, the layout of the property and the room were gorgeous, extremely clean and well-maintained and exactly what you would hope for...
