We are just now checking out of this beautiful 300+year old summer home which has been beautifully converted into a small boutique hotel. The hotel owners have beautifully preserved the decor and atmosphere. We looked at several rooms and they all were equally beautiful. I completely agree with everyone who commented on the landscape, convenience to the old town, the...

We stayed in Siena as our base for driving to other towns in Tuscany and it was a wonderful choice for that. Palazzo di Valli is a wonderful hotel from the 1700's (I think?) with all of the same buildings and architecture!! Such a great way to experience history firsthand. We stayed in a standard room for 1 night and...

We stayed for a week at the Palazzo di Valli in July (apologies for the delay in submitting this). The hotel is perfectly situated fifteen minutes' casual walk from the gates of Siena and thirty from the centre of Siena itself. It is an old Tuscan country house, probably from the 18th century, which is now a hotel overlooking the...

My wife and I had 14 days in Italy and part of our time was spent in Siena. We wanted to revisit the city centre but also wanted to stay outside of the city in a villa with terrific views and just a little off the beaten path. This hotel was perfect it was just a little south of city...

This hotel has a rural setting with a great view of the country side yet is within walking distance of city center or very near a shuttle bus stop for easy access to the city. Lorenzo and Giacomo are great hosts and the breakfast is first rate.

Only 10 minutes walk from a city gate, this lovely hotel, b&b really, impressed. Our room, 25,large, comfortable with brilliant views. The duty staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. The breakfast had everything, cereals, cut fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, pastries and more. A freshly cooked dish different each day, pancakes, scrambled eggs with onion and tomatoes, bacon, boiled eggs....

We stayed 2 days at Palazzo di Valli, and really enjoyed it. The hotel is just outside the city wall, with wonderful view of the landscape. Easy to park, a big plus in Siena! Only 1,7 km to the centre area, and bus every 15 minutes departs 50 meters from the hotel. In the evening, we walked back to the...

It was raining upon our arrival Oct 17 for a one night stay. Lorenzo met us at the car with umbrella in hand. Couldn't have been more welcoming! This hotel is amazing!! The charm, decor, views and the owners. We were so impressed with this place. Old world feel and in immaculate condition. A short bus or taxi ride to...

The hotel managers are fantastic and they treat everyone like royalty. They are helpful with transportation, things to see, places to eat....anything you ask. This is an exquisite building with every room a little different . Ours had a breathtaking view over the beautiful Tuscany landscape as well as Sienna. Our rooms wall and ceilings were beautiful frescos, a good...

I was fortunate to have spent the last 6 days of my 3 week Italian adventure in the Palazzo di Valli. It was quaint, easily accesible to town and Lorenzo and Giaccomo are two of the nicest and down to earth human beings I have ever met. They could not do enough for us. I would highly recommend you stay...
