Our family occupied 3 of the apartments which were very clean and had most of the things needed except 1 didn't have a kettle and 2 had no cookers only microwaves. The patios are very close together which could be a problem if you don't know the other occupants. The family are very welcoming and helpful, giving advice on places... More

The three small but cozy apartments about three kilometers from Siena are a real treat – it only takes 5 minutes by car to drive to one of the parking lots around Siena, there is a small store close by where you can buy most necessities and the pool is clean and nice although not very large. The place may... More

We stayed at la Prodaia in early June for one week. The apartment was clean, had lovely facilities including the basics that you need for self catering - coffee percolator, salt, pepper, washing up liquid (call me fussy but these are the last things I want to be buying locally). The owners Giancarlo and Eleanor who live on site were... More

We have stayed at La Prodaia twice, and enjoyed it both times. The location is excellent, near Siena, but in a very quiet place. The appartments are good and clean, with a usable kitchen, and good beds. The host couple are very friendly, and speaks english well. They helped us planning our trips, and gave hints on where to eat... More

Our journey to Tuscany had been somewhat dramatic, having to change travel plans a number of times, we were exhausted before we even reached our destination but when we did, our stresses and anxieties evaporated in an instant... We were totally awestruck not only by the beauty of the location but the warmth of our hosts and fell in love... More

In July 2007 I have spent my holiday together with my family in Siena, Tuscany, more precisely in Costafabbri, the outskirts of Siena. The place is named La Prodaia and is run by a very nice Italian family. The house is placed very near to a former monastery and it has a breathtaking view of pines and olive trees. Rooms... More
