We visited this venue with Activities Abroad. The setting was really beautiful on the side of the hills looking down into the valley. There are seven apartments and we lived very closely with the other families there which worked really well. Each apartment had an outdoor table where we ate meals. Our hosts Simone and Donatella worked really really hard...

The location of this place is AMAZING - with fantastic views. The host, Simone, is brilliant. So calm and helpful. There are 7 apartments within this beautiful old building. We stayed in the Scalette apartment which had lovely vaulted ceilings. We did some of the activities with Simone of which canyoning was a total highlight. A real must do for...

I was one of 10 female friends who stayed at Casa Carbonaia this summer. It is very clean and spacious and brilliant for a big group as it had lots of rooms which can interconnect to lots of different combinations of accommodation. This place is in a stunning setting. It's traditional accommodation but with everything you need and we didn't...

Our family stayed in the Casa Carbonaia for a week, during which time we enjoyed climbing, canyoning and caving with the owner, Simone, as our guide. Views from the property are amazing and it feels like you can see half of Tuscany. The pool is generously proportioned and also benefits from the fine views and tranquil setting. Accommodation is in...

Stayed in house with friends for activity weekend. Position was breathtaking, nestled in Tuscan countryside, the perfect peaceful retreat after adrenaline packed activities. Simone was the perfect host and he went out of his way to make sure we got the most from our time there. Will definitely return with my family as they would love it just as much...

We found this farm house complex through activities abroad. The owner, Simone is a real star who will do anything to help you have a great holiday. The villa complex is located about 1hour from central Florence and is situated on a hill overlooking the whole of the Arno river. The views are inspiring both at night and during the...

We stayed for one week - arranged through Activities Abroad (who were great to deal with - some first hand experience and advice about the holiday, the location, and the people. You know it is going to be good when the person at the holiday company has taken his own family there on holiday - more than once). Simone is...
