Delightful older hotel with a great location to the Church and town. Larger room with comfortable bed and cute furniture. Included breakfast was ok but not remarkable. Bathroom doable but high tub to step over.

The location of this hotel is the only good thing going for it. I found the lack of cleanliness to be discusting. The shower was full of grime and mold, especially the shower doors. The walls in the bathroom were also extremely unclean. There were cob webs in the room. The refrigerator was plugged in but did not work. The... More

Visited Assisi as part of a pilgrimage through Italy with 42 other church friends. Spent 2 nights at the Windsor. While the view was spectacular and the bar acceptable, the hotel itself could use a bit of a face lift. The beds were uncomfortable and the breakfast buffet was modest even by Italian standards. If returning I would look for... More

We have stayed twice in Assisi, first time in the Gioto Spa as we found a discounted price over booking.com and was definetely affordable. This second time, we could not find the offer and decided to take this one instead. We found a pleasant surprise on the fact that is fantastically well located right outside of the ZTL, and with... I'm rating for the restaurant because we went to the restaurant for our lunch. It was good, we have bread on the table but no butter and the the bread is quiet hard to chew. Anyway we ordered spaghetti, fried veal and gelato. The tasty are good and the spaghetti is quiet big portion too, so it is nearly fill... More

Ok. The hotel is besides the S. Francisco Cathedral, it is an historical building, the wifi is strong and you can have a great view. Great hotel. But I recommended you to avoid the restaurant. At the dinner the food was bad, cold, and expensive. You can choose A La Carte (Menu) for 25 euros or Buffet for 20 euros,... More

Ok we stopped here for only one night. Had it been more I'd had to move rooms. The A/C was completely broken and they did nothing for me till I took a box fan from behind basement bar for room. I asked desk guy for a/c help, asked for fans and said didn't have any but after I took bar... More

We were here for lunch and the food was really good. The best green beans I ever ate. The portions of reasonable size, but tasty. And fast service. Big space and with enough ladies bathrooms. In places where you can find a lot of people this is important.

If I would rate this hotel on views from hotel/room I'd give it a very high grade. But walking in to the room I thought I was in a convent . Plus the air conditioning barely worked for many in our tour group. Granted, there are not a lot of places to stay in Assisi , so for one night... More

This hotel restaurant usually only caters meals for its guests and tourist groups but they fit us in tonight. They offer a reasonably priced simple tourist menu with a choice of three different first and second meals, as well as side dishes and dessert. The risotto with mushrooms and tartufo (umbrian delicacy) was the stand out, also the steak was... More
