I visited Umbria for the first time in September and stayed at Le Casaace along with other friends attending a wedding nearby. The road to get there is more like a track (don't let google maps direct you down the wrong track which is even worse!) but it was worth it once we arrived. The setting is really peaceful and...

My wife and I have been to Italy three times, but this was our first time in Umbria. We went with family (from Milan) and could not have imagined how absolutely perfect this quaint place would be. The location is everything we wanted, completely immersed in the hills with stunning sunrise and sunset views. We stayed in a beautiful two-bedroom...

Staying at Le Casacce was unbelievabley beautiful, the views are breathe taking from the pool and even just the apartments that we stayed in. Honestly it's beautiful everywhere you are if you're an outdoor kind of person. The apartments are so relaxing and spacious. I felt at home with everything that was provided for us. When wanting to take time...

Once again, Le Casacce did not disappoint! My husband and I adore this little sanctuary and I have a hard time thinking about a different way to spend our summer holidays. This year we went during peak season and were able to meet a fantastic group of people there. We enjoyed the ferragosto grill up in the hills and as...

This was a restful stop over for us in Umbria. Getting there.....not so much. Fortunately we are used to driving on back roads. This is not a dangerous or even overly tough drive but for anyone used to only driving city and highway it might appear to be more than it is. The road off the highway winds up a...

After a week in Tuscany we decided to have 3 nights in Umbria and selected Le Casacce based on TripAdvisor reviews. Our arrival was interesting with our Garmin GPS set to fastest route we found ourselves on an extremely rough, stony track. Deciding there was no way we could get up, we called Carlo and he directed us to the...

This was our second, two-week stay at Le Casacce and it certainly won’t be our last. Our first trip was during the first two weeks in August of 2013 and we just returned from our first two weeks in July. Both apartments we’ve stayed in are tastefully decorated with displays of local arts and crafts. The furnishings are very comfortable...

We have just returned from Le Casacce, a truly beautiful and peaceful place run by two of the kindest people. We had such a great time visiting the towns around the farm but our small flat, the swimming pool, the BBQ, Swan and Paco the dogs and of course Carlos and Viviana make this really something special. Thank you for...

we have been here in june for two weeks. The location and the owners are super. A very nice environment if you want to visit nice cities in Umbrie in combination with relaxing at the pool or at your own private cottage. Carlo and Viviane did everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible. If you do not speak...

We stayed here for 5 nights in September. After arriving too late to go shopping for supplies, Carlo very kindly brought us a selection of supplies so we could cook dinner in the apartment. We stayed in the Trilocale which has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, plus kitchen and dining/lounge area. We swam twice in the pool which has amazing...
