After an amazing, hairpin turn drive up to the top of the hill in Perugia, we were able to park for 60 minutes at the front of the hotel to unload our luggage. The hotel gave directions and a pass to a garage ( cheaper than the max day charge at public parking) reached via the escalators and tunnels nearby....

We arrived 3 couples No air cndition. In one room a very old one that didnt work. The other 2 rooms got a small movibel air condition that you have to leave a window open so that the hot air from the air condition can go out. The rooms are big and the small air codition did not help.

La Rosetta is perfectly situated at the top of this steep hilltop city. Tucked back from the main 'promenade' it is quiet and relaxing. The rooms are a good size although the furnishings are tired. The bathrooms are excellent with both bath and shower. But what makes the stay so enjoyable is the happy and helpful staff; what a change...

This is a so very convenient hotel right in the city center. Very nice - including a nice outside restaurant for lunch which we didn't try but appeared to be a Sunday brunch favorite of Italians - so probably excellent). Rooms were nice, and somewhat larger than expected. Air conditioning was a portable unit. Common areas just a bit tired....

It was a really beautiful hotel, the building was really fabulous. The restaurant was old school and amazing (at night). The head waiter in the evening pulled out all the stops and worked so hard to impress. Even though he was one of two front of house staff on. The breakfast, the coffee was HORRIBLE, had to order separately (this...

Only one out of four lights were working in the bathroom and two lights out of five working in the bedroom - no doubt the bulbs were blown. Clothes cupboards filthy, no tea or coffee or kettle facilities. There was no explanation of hotel facilities available when we booked in and no explanatory leaflets in the room. We knew that...

You may stop infront of the hotel for check in and give the laguage. Then you park in a public garage [17eu] which is below the Walls but you can easily reach it on foot via escalators. The main pedestrian street begins from the hotel. The hotel is an old building with perfectly renovated rooms which preserve their old looks. Nice...

One of the most enjoyable complete meals I can remember in this part of the world. Seated on a table in the medieval courtyard the service and food was amazing. The Potato and onion frittata was very tasty as was the egg omelet and truffles. This was followed by grilled lamb and roasted potatoes. This restaurant also has a very...
