I stayed at this albergo two years ago and was even more impressed by it this time when I stayed four nights. The single rooms are comfortable, quiet, and cosy and I would highly recommend it to solo travellers. The breakfast is fine but it would be nice to have some variety if you stay more than a couple of...

I came to spend 5 days in Perugia with my family and I couldn't have asked for a more friendly and cosy place. The family that runs the hotel is very very nice and you really feel like you are visiting a family home in Perugia. There's no better place I could have been.

In October 2012 I found myself in the hill city of Perugia. The circus was in town and by that I mean the trial of Amanda Knox was underway. The tourist office pointed me in the direction of Albergo Morlacchi which is in an old part of the city close to University cafes and bars. Really it is a friendly...

I'll say ditto to most of the comments to date. This was a very pleasant stay, excellent breakfast, nice interacting with family, and close to the main square in old town. On the downside, yes some of the rooms are small and there is no air conditioning but neither was an issue for us. We enjoyed our stay and would...

Great little family run bead and breakfast. Extremely friendly and helpful owners/staff. The hotel is a conversion from an original building dating back some hundreds of years, giving it a very authentic and historical feel to it. However, being such an old structure, there is no lift or air conditioning which would put off some. That said, there are only...

High above the tops of olive tree groves and verdant valleys, lies the ancient city of Perugia with its twisting, narrow ways, and more views, photo ops, and chocolate shops than one could imagine. In the midst of cathedrals, universities, and museums, my travel companions and I found the Albergo Morlacchi. And what a find! Family owned and run for...

This charming hotel in an older building is centrally located, just a short walk up the hill to the Fontana Maggiore on the Corso Vannucci & the city center. It's another short walk to the University for Foreigners & the medieval aqueduct. This small hotel is run by a warm and helpful family, and we felt very welcome here. My...

Went back to visit the city I lived in years before. Great value for a room for the evening (we only stayed one night). Centrally located with easy access to the full city. Old school charm, this is the only place I have been in the past 5 years with a physical key for the door. Staff was very friendly.

Very friendly & helpful made us feel like family. Homemade croissants, yummy and of course cappuccino. Michele speaks English which was helpful and recommend great places to eat and to see. This was a very special place will be back again. The local people were very friendly even thou we spoke very little Italian they made us feel at home.

My wife and me stayed here 2 months ago and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is run by the family with a dog name Jessie and we are dog lovers. There no aircon in the room but the weather is getting cold and our room was cool and comfortable. Due to the high ceiling I guess it cool in the...
