The staff are wonderful and will help with anything they can. We stayed in an apartment (wanted outside space) and a room which were both good. It is quite a way off the main road and the track is very bumpy. It is also quite remote, there is nothing around and you cannot walk anywhere outside of the hotel as...

Yes, to reach Forte Sorgnano it is a long and bumpy ride (the last 5 kilometers), but the view is worth it. We have stayed here a couple of nights in the beginning of September. The rooms are spacious and clean, however a little dated. The bathroom can use a make over. The breakfast is good and the daily 4 course...

I just returned from a weekend trip to Forte Sorgnano and I was very pleased to say the least. The accommodations are not luxury but they have everything you would need. Our unit had two full beds, two bathrooms, a loft with two twin beds, kitchen, dining and a small television area. The kitchen is a wonderful convenience but not...

Just finished a weekend stay at Forte Sorgnano with our family of five. Everything was perfect. The Querce apartment had plenty of room for the five of us. The dinners in the restaurant were among the best meals we've had in Italy. Marco and Carol were most gracious hosts. Marco reserved horseback riding for us at a nearby Agriturismo and...

I spent a week in Forte Sorgnano with my family and I found the place excellent especially for the kids. The owners are very kind, the place is quiet relaxing and full of entertainment for the kids, you really feel at home. It's the place if you want to visit the cities in Umbria.

What a delight to discover this hidden part of nature in its primordial state...no signs of human interference, just mountains, trees and endless landscapes....Africa in Umbria !! Even the dirt road leading to the country house gives one a sense of leaving "civilization" behind... Good to know the wild still exists....

We stayed for 2 weeks at this wonderfull agri turismo. Even though it is a little remote, but this was expected, we had a great time. We stayed at one of the 2 bedroom appartments and we liked it a lot. The kitchen was well equipped and you have a lot of space/private garden. The view is spectacular and the...

My wife, my 6 months old twins, my parents and I have been to Forte Sorgnano last 10 days of August 2012. Great experience, we came back to our town, Rome, very satisfied for the relaxing location, placed among pure nature, nothing else there but silence, beautiful landscape, olive trees, just guests, no crowd. Marco and Andrea, the owners, have...
