Location is not directly in the downtown which is good - less crowded/noisy. Only three bus-stops from all the action, though - and quite walkable across a big bridge with amazing view. Adjacent to three different museums and one art gallery. Breakfast was self-serve, with fresh bread provided along with jams, joghurts etc in a little kitchenette on the "Guest"... More

My wife and I were booked into this "bed and breakfast" by a business contact so had no expectations one way or the other. We were given keys, and no instructions. Within my first hour there I was lectured by the proprietress on doing a better job of parking, then yelled at for using the "private" (albeit unlabeled as such)... More

A friend and I stayed three nights at the B&B Kirchenfeld in Bern this summer. A great accommodation quite near (3 bus stops or 15 minutes walk) to the train station and main downtown action.
