I stayed here last night on a business trip and was very happy with the rooms, the super courteous and friendly staff and the breakfast. It's three stars but super good value in my opinion. Location is definitely B but its close to the train station and almost walking distance to the old town/Rhone river where most of the business...

Very clean and modern hotel, a bit hard to get to! We went around the block a few times, sat nav kept directing us down a blocked off street. The hotel is within walking distance of most of what we wanted to see in Geneva, and unlike others, we were no put off by its proximity to the red-light district....

My family and I stayed for two nights. We had two adjacent rooms and therefore great privacy which was a treat for out girls. The hotel is very clean, modern, a short walk to old town, the lake, restaurants, shops etc.; parking was available. Geneva is expensive. So for the money (two rooms with private connecting corridor) we got a...

We stayed here for a concert - area between hotel and lake seems dodgy but more importantly short walk to railway station felt very safe late on. Decor in English colonial theme, free business centre, free rail and bus travel locally and extremely helpful service.

The Kipling Hotel is one of the more reasonably-priced Manotel properties in Geneva (they have 5 or 6). It is located on rue de la Navigation, a convenient 5-7 minute walk from Gare Cornavin, the central train station. It's also near the Paquis district about a 5 minute walk from the lake. I stayed for two days - the staff...

Likes: polite and helpful staff, complimentary public transport pass, walking distance (10 min) from the main station (Cornavin), very clean rooms, air conditioned, good value for Geneva, they do everything to accommodate your requests at the time of booking and email you back in less than 24 hours, kettle and tea/ coffee making facility, . The niggles: some of the...

My 2nd stay - great small hotel with good service and breakfast . It's not cheap but it's Geneva - easy walk from the railway station and not far from the lake. Friendly local coffe shops and cafes nearby.

Only stayed for one night in hotel Kipling when we stopped over at Geneva after traveling from Milan to Geneva by train. Hotel Kipling is amongst the MANY hotels available nearby the main train station - Gare Geneva; and of the Manotel group of hotels it's the only 3-star rates one (hence more affordable one!) It's location is walkable from...

Once you get over the bill shock that is what Geneva is famous for then the Kipling is worthwhile. The oom and amenities are good. There is plenty of nightlife going on, some of it unsavoury in the red light district but don't be concerned. The train station is close and the centre of town and the railway station were...

We would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Geneva. The hotel is 1 tram stop away from the main train station. It borders the red light district but it did not give us any problem as long as we avoid these streets. Clean. Good decoration. Spacious. They take care of minor details and made our stay very comfortable. We also...
