Friendly owner(Lady at the reception), friendly staff. Great location you can walk to the lake and other major tourist places. The breakfast might not be elaborate but with lot of food joints close by it doesnt really matter. They also give the travel pass so budget travelers might actually like it because it gives you free access to public transportation.... More

This hotel has a good location which enables you to explore some of the prominent places in Geneva on foot, which I did to the fullest. Upon checking in, I was greeted by a very courteous and friendly lady at the reception (the Manager) who gave me a quick intro and the do's and don'ts which are relevant to a... More

Hotel Comedie looks tiny from the outside and the narrow reception inside does no favours to it either. However, first impressions can sometimes be misleading. I had a surprisingly large room (although as I would later learn, still not as big as my colleague) which contained a bath rather than a shower. I prefer a bath anyway because having to... More

Very clean, comfortable large room. Mine looked out the back, so very quiet. Comfortable bed and large desk for working. Excellent wifi. The breakfast was more than sufficient for me with fresh from the bakery croissants and bread, and eggs if you wanted them. Great location near to everything including the tram to the train to the airport (took about... More

This hotel was within our price range during a week of astronomical prices in Geneva. We were pleasantly surprised. The beds were comfy, the rooms clean, and the area was quiet. The tram stops close by, yet we walked to most sites including the waterfront. Breakfast included eggs to order! Friendly helpful staff. No frills or cafe.

The room I stayed in was small, I could nearly touch both walls at the same time, was very stuffy, but when you opened the window it was too noisy, being on a tram route. The bathroom was functional and overall the room was clean but hardly welcoming. The breakfast offering was 'continental' in the worst way - very little... More

This is a hotel you try to forget as quickly as possible. Starting with the positives: good location, spacious rooms, had room facing backside which was quiet and possible to open window and wifi is ok. The less positives: reception is depressing, the rooms are tasteless, no coffee or tea making facilities, hard not very comfortable beds, breakfast is rather... More

Where to start? the fact that there is no staff after a certain hour and that you have to make your own way with a key to the hotel is not the best feature of this otherwise reasonably well located hotel. The rooms are spacious but the furniture is more akin to a student accommodation bedsit. If you were expecting... More

Stayed here the last few times I've visited Geneva as I'd been working in the hospital, which is under 10 minutes walk. Hotel has a tram right outside, so good connections to the city centre. I walked to the hotel from the railway station in under 25 minutes, so if it's nice, it's not a bad way to go. Rooms... More

If you do not have to stay in this hotel for the whole day, it is nice choice. Close to the city centre and Geneva lake, not far from the railway station. Managers are rather friendly, breakfast is not bad - cheese, jam, honey, bread, butter, eggs, ham and coffee. The price is normal for Switzerland)
