Bad in everything, only clean bathroom, I have paid 15 CHF for breakfast consists of bread and cheese nothing more!!, also the entrance of my room was very narrow that I have to get inside by my side, I felt I was in a prison not in a hotel

Conveniently placed in the city centre, this hotel gave me everything I need when traveling: a clean room with a clean bathroom, free wireless connection (meant to be accessible in the lobby, they say, tough the wireless easily reached my room, 103), friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast underwhelming. If you search for more comfort, then you'd better search somewhere else.

A good price in an expensive city. Rooms are small, but okay and seems to be renovated. Breakfast costed 15 Francs, which was a loot, best avoided. Free Wifi in lobby only, which is not too bad in Geneva. A short walk to tram line, which takes to city centre, or else a brisk 15 minute walk. University and the...

The hotel definitely needs refurbishment. Essentially, the rooms look shabby, bed are uncomfortable and don't even dream of having silent night - due to the old windows you can hear everything from outside (at least that was the case in my room). The environment is so so, nothing really stunning and given the fact that Geneva is not big, it's...

This hotel is quite dreadful. The unrenovated rooms have ancient single beds and a musty atmosphere. The renovated rooms are somewhat better. But my most unsettling experience here was when I checked in around midnight, and found the lobby occupied by about 10 men who were singing and playing music. It was the sort of scene one might find at...

Swiss is an expensive country and really you don't get much for your money. That's true for Le Grenil as well. The staff is friendly and they do speak english, positive is also the restaurant in the same building, with nice food and nice staff. The negatives: the beds are horrible, probably from the midseventies and never changed since. The...

I booked this hotel only because it had parking. When I arrived, I was told that parking was under construction just the three days I was there, which was false. They did not want me to park there for any reason. The room was very old, with the appearance of a roadside motel. Correct breakfast and friendly service, but they...

This hotel is within a walking distance from the University, in a possible less expensive area - still conveniently located close the touristic area. There are some quite reasonably priced restaurants and bars in the vicinity. The hotel offers very basic (slightly shabby) rooms and breakfast. If you need the room only for sleeping, it's OK. If you have to...

No hot water on day 1, no locks on the bathroom door, no ari conditioning on a 27C summer day!!! only a fan!, rooms very small, Beds made of rock and pillows as well. Breakfast minimal and aunts sharing the breakfast on the table everymorning due to poor cleaning! For a 3 star hotel, terrible value for money. As a...

It was a nice experience in terms of help from hotel staff, their breakfast, bus passes, their internet provision and connectvit to main lake. It is slightly off from the railway station, may not be very far, but if with luggage, it is not a walking distance.
