I visited the hotel, way back in 2012-13 since there was no option here to select previous years I had to select the month of may. The view from the balcony at night is awesome with lights from the nearby town (village ??). The food was also tasty. We were looking forward to an Indian cuisine after a week long...

A large "old Style" Hotel... a bit dated. Excellent location overlooking the village and the entire Valley / mountains. (famous for Bollywood Film locations shoots) Indian Food is available as the Hotel guests during summer months are mainly Asia Groups. In the winter however guests are mainly winter sport lovers and there are no group tours. Breakfast is excellent and...

One of the highlights of Hotel Terrace is its entrance which is bored through a mountain. You need to walk through 2 small tunnels cut in the mountain before you enter the hotel. The hotel itself is quite large and quite modern. Rooms are exquisite and well equipped. It gets full during the skiing time of the year. Engelberg itself...

The hotel offers a great view over Engelberg and a very good coffee. A selection of indian food during breakfest time is a nice alternative to the prepared continental style. The receptionists are polite and helpful.

Hotel location is the best in town. Convenient to reach and good view. However hotel seem to cater mostly to Indian groups and have only Indian food including breakfast which is not enjoyable. Staff members are very rude and not hospitable at all. They treat guests like hoards of animals, sit here, not there, you arrived late, we have to...

We stayed at Hotel Terrace for 3 nights in September, 2016. The approach to the hotel was interesting - you walk through a long 'cave', take two lifts and reach the reception. The staff at reception were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout (I missed to get their names). The room was nice, we were in the first floor that had...
