once was an old monastery all we could get at a reasonable price just to sleep in before starting the tour from Andermatt.Switzerland. Room basic in fact we had two rooms to use as small one for luggage and one to sleep. Downside shared bathroom never have I done that before but it was a bit inconvenient but ok. immaculate... More

the location is two blocks away from the bus stop. The the facilities were very clean. The food was average. A clean towel provided every day, we just had to request it at the desk. The internet was not strong enough, good only at the lobby area.

Not luxurious, but quite comfortable. The reception staff was wonderful, helpful, and friendly. We were a little nervous about the shared bathroom and shower, but needn't have been. While it was a little annoying to have to walk down the hall, they were very clean. The grounds are beautiful! Location is excellent- located on a quiet street, three bus stops... More

Not exactly a hotel but more like a hostel. I chose this place mainly because of the price which was quite reasonable compared to other hotels which were almost double or triple the price. 15 minutes walk from the main train station or you can take the number 10 bus from the front of the train station and it will... If you're traveling alone, this is an excellent place to stay, it is comparatively inexpensive, quiet, and comfortable. It is not in the touristy centre, but rather a bit up the hill on the other side of the river. Take the bus #10 from the Bahnhof to Berglistrasse, do this at least once to see exactly where the hotel is.... More

Rooms are relatively small (designed for singles) so we got two rooms as a replacement of double one, one with beds, another neighboring one with chars and table. Shared toilets and showers (unisex!) are clean. The staff is willing and helpful and speaking English well. WiFi works well but not in all rooms (rather in the central corridors). You get reasonable... More

This establishment is under the direction of a Christian charity. It is suggested that God moves in mysterious ways. His ways are certainly difficult to understand when it comes to appointing the hapless management at this sad excuse for paid accommodation. As a basic room goes, there isn’t much to complain about. However, what is lacking is any semblance of... More

Just 4-5 bus stops away from Lucerne's train station (Bus 10, get off at Berglistrasse stop), this is a good place if you life a quaint and decent accommodation. Shared showed and wc were extremely clean and water pressure is good. Just no microwave or fridge for budget travelers, so we could not get food from Coop supermarket and no... More

Very basic accommodation but super clean and very good at reception and they looked after us well. The bathroom was shared among a whole corridor, which was OK. The only slight let down was the breakfast. Can walk 15 minutes to train station or get number 30 bus (5 minutes).

Walking distance from the city centre (5 minutes) with restaurants at the bottom of the hill - 2 minutes away. A very quiet location (too quite sometimes) with beautiful views over Lucerne and the mountains. Rooms were very clean with only basic necessities and had free wireless. Shared toilets and showers.

“A room on the back side of the building is probably far quieter than a room with a view in the front due to the trains.”
