Stayed for a couple of nights in September of 2016, this was my last place of stay on a trip to Europe. The location of the hotel is great, right across the marketplatz. Easily accessible by the St. Gallen Railway station. The room itself, like other reviews have mentioned, was small, but it had modern sophisticated lighting which set the...

An excellent location adjacent to the old part of the city, and within easy walking distance. The staff were without exception genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel throughout was faultlessly clean. Our room while not huge was very adequate and the bathroom facilities modern. The restaurant for a very adequate buffet breakfast was beautifully laid and, again, superior staff service....

Loved the hotel, it is very central, the town is just across the street and car parking is included. The breakfast room is beautiful as it the attendance of the staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Bedroom wasn't huge but was spotlessly clean and lovely soft towels.

I was a little hesitant to book this hotel as it is both a hotel and nursing home. What???? Yes it is true. But it was lovely just the same. Positives: super friendly staff, very nice buffet breakfast included, FREE parking (nearly unheard of in Europe) and just across the street to the entry of old St. Gallen. Cons: the...

I spent a day in this hotel for business purposes. The staff was one of the greatest I have ever met in hotels around the world. My room was a bit smaller than expected, but was very modern, clean and bright with direct view to the small garden. The breakfast was excellent! Unfortunately I just had a night here! Will...

Hotel attached to nursing home but lovely quiet rooms that look out over a courtyard. Staff is very kind and best hot breakfast of our stay. Tiny, super clean, modern room. Soft fluffy towels & lovely hot water. I would recommend this as a quiet get away int he heart of the city.

On the road of Switzerland we made a stop in Sankt Gallen, a small town with a nice old city. This hotel is located near the entrance to the old town. The building is deviated to two: A nice hotel and...and elderly home, but they don't mix together. Rooms are renovated as new. Sparkling clean. Extra good service. Parking 11...

The location is perfect to visit the city and the free parking is great. The room was clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and we really liked the breakfast, which was good with different kind of breads, cheese, coldcuts, fresh fruit ecc.

You will have to be prepared to the fact that this hotel share the same structure with a residential care home for aged people. To us, this was not a problem at all. Hotel position is the great thing. We just had to cross a road and were already in the city center. The Abbey with his breathtaking library was...

I have been satisfied with the location and the courtesy of the staff. But the hotel looks really poor, inside old building with very bare rooms. It is shoulder-to-shoulder with a clinic for aged people who share the breakfast room with the hotel guests. It is not worth the money I have paid...
