This hotel is wonderful! Rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Beds are very comfortable. It is located in the heart of Grindewald and you can walk everywhere. The hotel is next to the lift for First Lift which is extremely convenient for skiers

Breakfast buffet was very tasty with a large selection of bread, fresh fruit, jam, fruit juice, cheese, delicatessen and eggs. Staff were also very friendly.

The accommodations are modest but the view is great. We did get the balcony view but if you do, be prepared for noisy restaurant patrons staying up until midnight. We stayed for two days and really the location is great for trails and restaurants. Not...More
