I must apologise to the team in this hotel for such a late review; nevertheless I can't help but share what a lovely experience we had here. We were welcomed in a lovely horse carriage pick up from the station, was really something very unique and enjoyable. The room we had requested for was available but not with a Matterhorn...

The hotel is probably the best in Zermatt with great views of the Matterhorn. It has some lovely restaurants as well and an especially nice, heated indoor pool. The rooms are quite basic and old. Where I would mark them down would be with regard to their restrictive bookings. They require people to book rooms for at least a week...

Beautiful, historic hotel. Stayed here for a week and couldn't have asked for a better hotel! Right in the middle of everything, right at the top of the main street and only a 5 minute walk to bus stops for the ski bus. Ski hire shop literally across the road if you need to hire any equipment and plenty of...

We had a really good time in Zermatt . Zermatterhof has a great location in the centre of the town. I had a great view to the Matterhorn from my room. The rooms are charming and stylish but not big. Fortunately we didn't spend too much time in them! The quality and styling in general is very good and even...

My wife and I recently visited the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof. It was marvelous! The hotel is modern and beautiful, staff are super helpful, and there is also a charm, with the natural feel to it. The location is fantastic. Right in the center of the town and they pick you up / take you to the train station, complementary. Rooms...

This was our second stay in the hotel... excellent English speaking service, pickup at the station, welcome drink, room exactly as expected, three restaurants, central location, excellent spa, sauna and pool. Exquisite breakfast with massive selections and solid concierge service. Ski room with private lockers always available. Be spoiled!

This historic hotel is ideally located in the center of Zermatt close to the church, the mountain climbers cemetery, excellent shops and restaurants. It is a beautiful hotel with excellent personalized service. The spa and pool are lovely, and the rooms (request room with balcony and Matterhorn view) are cozy and luxurious. The breakfast room is stunning. A horsedrawn carriage...

We arrived in Zermatt only to find a horse carriage waiting to pick up us next to the train station, this set the tone for our experience at this awesome hotel in the Swiss Alps. The property is situated at the end of the main shopping street (which stretches from the train station to the Zermatterhof - a 10 min...

I am writing this review on behalf of a family who just visited Zermatt and stayed at the Grand Hotel Zermatterhoff. I worked with the concierge on many occasions to book this trip for the family and my personal experience was great. Everyone was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to help. The family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and...

I am currently staying in this hotel for a skiing trip December 2016 and I have to say the location is great... middle of town with excellent views. Service is OK but not close to the high end 5 star hotels in the Alps like Riffle Alp hotel in Zermatt. The food is not good and I seriously hope they...
