I've been three times just for the views. A little dated but if you don't mind that 70's vibe.... clean and assemble to nice restaurants. Ask for the rooms facing the Matterhorn and be prepared to be amazed in the morning when you open the curtains!

We stayed in this hotel for one night. We were lucky we were on the upper floor, in back of the hotel. From the room we were able to see the Matterhorn, through the windows in the roof. Although the rooms were not too large, they were more than adequate for 2 people. The beds were comfortable and the area... More

I just called in for lunch. It is a comfortable restaurant, very clean and a good menu. I had good service and the price was reasonable. The meal was well presented and very enjoyable. I sat in the lounge bar after the meal, it was warm and cosy. I will return.

While on a business trip to Switzerland, my wife and I decided to visit Zermatt on the weakend. This is an alpine village that has everything you could hope for. The only vehicles are the small taxis and hotel "busses", golf carts on steroids really, that raom the streets. We stayed at the Hotel Pollox situated right in the middle... More

We stayed for a few nights in Zermatt. We choose this hotel because of the bunkbeds and location. It was a perfect for our family. The kids would walk to get their crepes and we walked straight over to the train to hit the slopes. Quaint bar in the downstairs lobby. Will stay again!

We stayed in this hotel in July as part of a Globus Tour and we could not have been more pleased. Our "Triple" room was spacious and had 2 bathrooms, which was great. It is in a perfect location, within walking distance to the trains and everywhere else in Zermatt. Great Bar in the hotel, with a great cozy atmosphere.... More

We visited as part of a Globus tour and found this hotel in the Swiss Alps to be wonderfully comfortable. We arrived to see a fire burning. Our room keys were quaint and heavy. The room had a comfortable bed (although the pillows were very soft). The view of the mountain out the window was impressive. The food in the... More

We stayed at Hotel Pollux for one night of a 7 night tour of Switzerland. What a cute hotel, with a great location on the main street in Zermatt. Since there are no cars allowed, the location was a plus. We loved strolling up and down the area, hoping the clouds would clear to get a glimpse of the Matterhorn!.... More

We had a room on the top floor in the back of the building which had a view of the matterhorn. My in-laws had a room with a street view. It is a short walk from the train station, where you arrive from Tash with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. We walked to the end of town where... More
