I have stayed here many times over the past 25 years and it never fails to impress
Top location,top facilities and top staff coupled with outstanding food.
My only gripe would be paying 8 SFR for a jug of tap water at dinner

Wonderful as always....the whole place is perfectly managed and all guests feel very good pampered. Spa and pool is beautiful. Cuisine and bar is very good as well. Service is great.I would definitely come back again...
Fantastic hotel: our room was lovely, comfortable and clean, and the food was amazing. Our waiter, Dante, deserves special mention for exceptional service!
But... we stayed half board (not cheap) but were charged for jugs of tap water with our evening meal which surprised us!

Both Alex Senior and Gisela are alive and well, but have retired from running the hotel having left it in the very capable hands of Rene Hurlimann and Christina, Sonia and Marcus Perren. They are always happy to come and chat to residents and their influence is still very obvious in the way the hotel is run.

I believe it did although to be honest I'm not sure. As for an outlet that can be used without a voltage converter. All our traveling electrical devices are usable for 110-220 volt so we didn't need a converter only an adaptor which we carry. Most new small appliances are that way. Check the writing on your appliance. I don't think there was a 110 volt outlet although may have been one in the bathroom for a shaver.
