We came for lunch fondue and visit the iglu village. The staff is not welcoming, no toilets provided on the site and the staff just said that "nature is a toilet" so we can do it in the snow... Well... The fondue is crap (very cheap cheese) and the bread was hard (maybe a week old?!)... It is a pity...

Dear Oukaischunomai Thank you for your feedback. We do regret you didn't like your visit. Of course we do have a toilet with running water. The fondue is the most used fondue in Switzerland. It's true it is a convenience blend, but considered our restricted logistic possibilities it's the best way to do it. We do use fresh made bread...

The location is well organized with some bar, tables, sun bed outside the Iglu so you can go at any time especially with a sunny day! The Iglu inside is a well done structure, really particular and characteristic but remember that is closed before 14:00.

Although our stay in the romantic suite was short (we didn't stay overnight) it was great fun. On entering, rose petals adorned the bedroom, with fantastic illuminated ice carvings and roses in blocks of ice, all accompanied by our chosen music soundtrack and a bottle of champagne. The jacuzzi was positioned fantastically with a large window showing a vista with...

Hello Jon Thank you a lot for your feedback and we are happy she said yes. We are pleased you liked your stay. We also will discuss your input about the spare footwear to make the meters on snow between the jacuzzi and the heated changing room. Best regards Your Igloo Village Zermatt team

We didn't stay at the hotel but we did enjoy the whole atmosphere of the place. An unusual idea with amazing views. It's a fun place with live music right on the piste. Well worth a visit. Enjoy the experience.

What is better than being able to say you stayed in an igloo for a night? Saying that you stayed in an igloo in the Swiss Alps. There isn't a more charming view than that of the Matterhorn from the iglu-dorf location. This was extremely accessible from the lift locations and train. We were able to ski for the day...

It's a nice place to visit. We visited last week and the kids loved the igloo experience. The restaurant offers fondue and soup. It's quite cold inside but the food tasted nice and the staff was pleasant. Didn't stay in the hotel but it's quite expensive for a night in igloo and the bathroom/toilet is outside in a container. The...

Dear Breshna, thank you very much for your feedback. We really do appreciate it, always try to learn and become a better product. It is true, that our main food offer is cheese fondue, we do also have some other choice in Zermatt. The prices are equal to prices of other restaurants in the mountains around us. Please consider the...

This was the part we were most looking forwards to on our trip! It didn't disappoint. We were almost unable to go up, as a warm December meant that they had had trouble completing the complex, and weren't officially open. However after initial disappointment they were able to accomodate us, as long as we understood that. We are extremely grateful...

We are pretty adventurous and couldn't resist the idea of spending a night in an igloo! Absolutely rip off and a miserable night to boot. The camp is poorly maintained, you could see the tops of the "igloos" exposed where the fake snow had melted off. The smell inside the igloo was terrible, the food atrocious, and the restroom facilities...

We visited this hotel in April 2015. It was a once in a lifetime thing. We stayed in the romantic igloo at Zermatt for one night. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the moonlit snow covered Matterhorn views at mid night. It can be quite cold up there and the guidelines for packing should be followed. We particularly liked the Hot...

We stayed at the Igloo dorf overnight as part of our trip to Zermatt and had a fab time! We travelled with our 2 small children who loved it and still talk about it now - aged 5 and 8. We loved being one of just a few people on the mountain once the chair lifts had stopped and the...
