Our experience was not as bad as others have, but our room (#6) was the smallest room and not the best, on our three week trip. It did not have much floor space. It had a very large wooden desk with shelves, a closet and a queen size bed. This was an attic room and the way the bed was... More

Stayed last weekend two nights in the Auberge. My wife and I knew by the reviews that "better costs more" but risked our chance anyway as we had an appointment nearby this hotel and we didn't know anything about Swiss public transport (which, by the way, is just fantastic!). Arriving at the hotel (along a busy main road but double... More

WE stayed for one night only after being advised by another fully booked hotel to try Hotel Auberge. We were charged 180CHF for a room facing the back of the building with sloping ceilings making us duck around each other whilst trying to organise our luggage. This must surely be only suitable as a single room. The bathroom had no... More

We stayed here since all other hotels under CHF 300 per night were taken that week. We were looking forward to a comfortable Swiss experience. Unfortunately, it did not turn out so good. The location is far from the train station in Laussane. Taxi was 50 CHF. The hotel was old and dirty and the shower had no curtain. However,... More

Dirty and smelly, a guesthouse would have been much better. Hairs in the bathroom, mouldy walls and dirty floor. 10km from the city, and 30€ by cab. Worst hotel I've ever been in Switzerland. The receptionist was rude and couldn't even speak a word of English. The only good thing.. I arrived earlier to my business meeting because I left... More

Old, dirty, smelly and noisy hotel with worst beds in the universe. They don't change towels daily, or clean rooms,... Makes Ibis look like a 7-star, and even in expensive and restricted Lausanne hotel environment not worth 100 euros a day.
