The property is located in a residential area. The nearby tram makes some noise but otherwise it is quiet. We had a large corner room. Contrary to Booking Referral not only with a Queen bed but with a Queen and an extra single bed. Mattresses okay. But we were happy not to have to lie on one in two - wobbly. Nice bath. No air conditioning which was a challenge in temperatures around 30 degrees outside and 28 inside. There's a fan. In the 5. Floor is a large common room with kitchen and large roof terrace. Breakfast is also served here in the morning. Bread, cheese, jam and yogurt, some fruit and cucumber. Coffee machine and good tea selection. The coffee machine is always available but outside breakfast costs 2 ChF / drink. In this room there are also several large refrigerators. Each room has a relatively large, lockable compartment in the fridge. That's great. Check in late in the evening easily via code for key compartment.

Self-catering accommodation is convenient, and the public space on the 5th floor has super large ground windows, just hit the snow, and with a warm church, the atmosphere is good. Plus the kitchen equipment is complete, you can go to the nearby supermarket to buy something back to cook, each room has a separate refrigerator, will give you a key, you can buy back something, it is safe and new. Room space is large, two large luggage boxes can be opened. The only small disadvantage is that the bed is a little small and two people sleep a little crowded. Clock close to the church will last until around 10 p.m., in fact, it will not interfere with sleep, if you mind, youth travelers also provide earbuds. The overall experience is good and recommended for those who come to Zurich to play.

From Zurich train station, just take the T3/T14 tram, which is 3 stops away from the Stauffacher tram stop, and then walk for one minute to Josephine's Guesthouse.
Large Single Room 18 square meters / 194 square feet, so big and clean.
There are several kinds of fresh bread, jam, cheese, orange juice, apple juice and fresh milk for breakfast. The rooftop on the 5th floor is very comfortable and has kitchen utensils for cooking. There is a Coop nearby, where you can buy food and cook it back.
If you go to Zurich, I highly recommend staying here. But it's only for women, so it doesn't really matter. There are many girls/several girls in the family traveling.

A comfortable accommodation close to the train station and a tram stop. Very good windows, the ready earplugs I did not need.
From the church next door, the hourly beat was only heard at 7am - with the window open.
The guesthouse has a great breakfast room on the 5th floor. Floor, with roof terrace.

Fantastic women's guesthouse! The room was just like the pictures - very spacious! Loved the soft bedding. Easy self check in. Yes the bells continue into the night but not a problem for me as a heavy sleeper! The guesthouse provide earplugs too. Breakfast was amazing with delicious warm fresh breads, yoghurts, fruits, coffee etc. Wonderful views and a long communal table. I read other reviews saying there was too much silence - there is always opportunity to chat with fellow guests although this time, I loved enjoying the quiet gentle morning (huge contrast to loud hostels). The peace of the space was wonderful for my nervous system after a busy day or travel. I'm looking forward to staying again soon to catch my flight out from Zurich. One tip - keep walking just past the pinned location on Google maps as the guesthouse sign is around the side of the building. It's past the childcare centre. Highly recommended!

Good clean hotel with functional facilities. Breakfast was served in the 5th. Stock in a large room with adjoining roof terrace (soy milk was also available, which I found very positive). It was very easy to enter the hotel and your own room with the Help center of the good description via a key safe. Shower gel/shampoo were not present, which would have been helpful.

Nice and clean room, central location. But despite the stated soundproofing, the room was very noisy. I found it extremely annoying that the rooms were cleaned with loud noise right during the midday rest period. I couldn't take a nap there, which for me as an older person significantly reduced the quality of the trip.

I really liked the guesthouse!! It was quiet, friendly, safe, spacious and well-equipped in the room and there was enough privacy in the common areas. The kitchen, dining room and terrace were spacious and pleasantly furnished with a generously equipped kitchen. A small seating area also had games. And there was an elevator to the 5th floor. The helpful women at the guesthouse were great, the location in the city was great, with tram connections and pleasant church bells in the morning.

We had a lovely stay at Josephine’s Guesthouse. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful. My room was lovely and clean with storage and a nice bathroom. I did struggle with the noise from a room above me, I mentioned this to the Receptionist who made a note for future visits that I require a quiet room. Earplugs were provided on arrival, there is a lovely church next to the guesthouse, the bells chime from around 7am until around 10pm. Breakfast was very nice with varied options. I would definitely return.

This is a very pleasant guesthouse with friendly women at reception. You feel welcome and in good hands.
It is also well and centrally located. There are numerous public transport options just a few steps from the front door. You just have to be lucky to park your own vehicle and have a few extra Swiss francs.
The room was very clean, but a bit small and spartanly furnished. But I didn't really need anything more.
As many others have already mentioned, the breakfast is quite modest. But I was prepared for that and was not disappointed.
